When we arrived through a lot of narrow streets then to find there was no free parking available in front of the hotel I was a bit frustrated but after a couple of hours one became vacant thankfully. The staff at the front desk were great & spoke very good English. The room was nothing flash but ok. The location... More

Clean hotels and 5 minutes walk to av liberdade which is the heart of the cities. Helpful staff which shows us where and how to go around places. When my friend injured herself, they really helpful by giving some meds. Reccomended for those who wants normal hotel than hostel.

Even the most seasoned traveler needs a rest. A rest in a quite, clean, organized hotel. That's why s/he pays sometime a lot of money!!! This hotel botanico is one of these cases when you feel that you are wasting, yes WASTING YOUR MONEY. It costed exactly 113€ per night (no breakfast included) during the popular season of "festa da... More

The location is very good, between Avenida de Libertad and Rua Escola Polytechnica. Then everythibng seem toi be uphill in Lisbon so there are some meters to climb from the Metro station Avenida. Staff friendly and I like the idea with welcoming guests with a small glass of port wine

Lisbon is located on 7 hills which means that wherever you stay, it's likely to require an uphill or downhill walk. Hotel Botanico is well located for access to a variety of areas and has a wine bar (250 varieties!) just a couple of doors up the hill. Hotel facilities are good - this is a true 3* hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights in march 2015. We were welcomed with a drink an a chat, all very friendly. We received the a room on the top (5th) floor and it was spacious, very clean and it had a nice view. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. The location is amazing. It is on top of a... More

Stayed here with five male friends as part of big birthday celebrations which was equivalent to a stag do I guess. It's a good location and perfectly functional, but would not be somewhere I stayed with my girlfriend as it was pretty old-fashioned and fusty. Was OK for the price and the purpose of the trip to Lisbon.

This is a very basic hotel, with not-so-nice rooms, and clunky furniture. It would not take much to make the rooms look nice. Also, I reserved (so I thought) a queen (double) bed, and got two singles. "that is jut a suggestion" i was told by the staff, so no argument off we went to separate beds. At any rate,... More

This the third time that we have stayed in this hotel. It is up a hill from the city centre and further up is the Bairro area with night life. There is limited free parking at the door. Perhaps its a little dated but there is always a friendly welcome. Our room (52) on the top floor had a view... More

I am just back from a weekend break in Lisbon. We stayed at Hotel Botanico. Great location, breakfast was great. This was my first visit to Lisbon, it's a lovely city, the weekend wasn't long enough to see all the attractions. We took a day trip to Sintra, this was fantastic
