Nice neighbourhood, big, clean apartment, nice people. We could let there our luggage for a few days. Very nice breakfast, near the airport by taxi - not expensive ride, a lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

stayed here for 5 nights. on entrance the reception area was very nice until you meet the staff. Cold emotionless and had a could not care less attitude. After seeing the reception area i was expecting a nice room. Not the case. Old room and worn out windows and furniture. The wi- fi was dreadful, always losing the signal.location was really poor,... We were there on a tour and so was almost everyone else. It is chaos when two or three bus loads arrive but they do seem to handle the volume pretty well. Rooms are average and we stayed in an interior room so avoided any noise from the trains on the other side. The positive is the large number of... More

Just been to Algarve for a week's holiday with my family and had a one day stopover in Lisbon for some sighseeing and return flight to London. We booked hotel Roma for the night and that was the biggest mistake! The staff reception staff was the most unimaginably rude, un-attententive and unhelpfull that I have ever come across...At check in... More

We stayed in Hotel Roma because of a tour that we joined. The hotel is located in a quite neighborhood except for the train station beside the hotel (which was not that noisy as other reviewers said). The rooms seems very old with old furniture but very clean. Service was good and the staff were very accomodating. The metro station... More

This was an unscheduled stay as a result of a TAP scheduling cock-up; we missed a connecting flight to London. We arrived at around 21:45 and were immediately 'rushed' in to the restaurant as it was due to close at 22:00 hours. Surly, argumentative waiters and a very poor food selection followed. The room itself was like something out of... More

Found this to be your no frills hotel. You can get a two bed room with no coffee maker, or Kleenex in the room. With very limited cable channels in English. However on the plus side they did have a mini refrigerator, and free wi-fi. We were on the 5th floor which was very quite. No city noise. The staff... More

We stayed here for 2 nites and were very happy. The front desk staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was ample. The subway station ROMA was just a few minutes walk and you can buy a 24hr ticket using the kiosk. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Keep the windows and curtains closed to avoid the noise from street... More

We were parked in this property by TAP Airlines for an unplanned overnight layover when they had to divert a flight and caused us to miss our connection back to the U.S. Since TAP had lost my bag I was already stressed, and the desk staff did nothing to help that situation - they were almost surly and not eager... Hotel is quite old, it`s big time pass away, but has some advantages. I stayed there with my 2 friends in business purpose, so we had 1 very spacious family room. Room and bathroom were very clean, every day towels and bedclothes were changed. Breakfest included - fresh bread and cakes, fresh fruits. Close to airport ( with luggage less... More
