This hotel is ideally situated and provides excellent standards in every aspect of service and accommodation. We will definitely visit again. Overall rating is one off the top purely because of the in-house prices of food and drink which are obviously paid by the corporate clientele but unreasonably high for the tourist, whatever their personal circumstances.e.g. a bar of chocolate... We had a beautiful room with a view. Breakfast was very good .Bar prices a bit expensive but it was nice to have such a comfortable bar area. A luxurious hotel and good value for money. Friendly staff.

Have just spent five nights at the Intercontinental Lisbon and were disappointed to find refurbishment going on which was not mentioned on the website. The lobby area is spacious and bright but much of the works are going on behind false walls with drilling throughout the day apart from meal times. We booked a Club room which was excellent, clean,... More

Just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay. Great hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Very good breakfast including sparkling wine. Everything in room that is required for good stay with very comfortable bed. Hotel located up a hill with walk through adjacent park and close to many bus routes, open top tour buses and metro.... Just checked out this morning after a 3 night stay in this lovely hotel. Everything was perfect. I loved the layout of the room with a hall way between the corridor door & bedroom. No noise! The recently refurbished room had everything we needed & more; dressing gowns, slippers, kettle & tea/coffee making bits & bobs. The curtains are top... More

This is a higher quality hotel. As soon as you enter the lobby with it's bright open areas you feel that you have arrived. Our room had a large bathroom filled with amenities such as robes and a Bidet. Everything sparkled including the service. The breakfast here was extensive and good tasting. Overall an enjoyable stay.

we had booked a suite at the hotel for a long weekend stay and on arrival we were informed that we had been given 'a nice suite'. This was an understatement - we had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite ! Service from start to finish was excellent, from the booking process with Anabela to the front desk, to the... More

Stayed for 4 nights on a long weekend break. The upgrade to Exec Room was as expected as a frequent user of this chain. The room was very well equipped, clean and modern. Only downside was the lack of movie channels on the TV although there were numerous TV stations. The hotel is having work done on the ground floor... More

After we read that the Interconti did undergo a makeover (I think there was another hotel in that complex before), we were expecting a little more contemporary fittings but unfortunately the hotel went for heavy curtains, thick carpets, lots of dark wood and overall an old-style that felt a bit pretentious. Almost like a wannabe 5 star, but it did... More

QUICK OVERVEW - the hotel is more than adequate, but don't mistake it fira typical intercomtinental or 5 star hotel. Rooms are decent and bathrooms are adequate. If that's what you're looking for, read no more. ROOMS - stayed in a club room; moderate size with decent amenities. The view was super, and was worth the upgrade. However, rooms need... More
