This hotel is a great base to explore as it is so close to the metro station, and buses run from stops which are very easy to get to. The room we stayed in was bigger than I expected, with a balcony and great air-con, which was needed! The staff were very helpful, drawing us directions on maps and advising... More

The hotel has the nicest staff. They are so friendly. It is well located and rooms are spacious and clean. However, this is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe some 10 years ago… Bathrooms are very old and so is the decor. The place could do with a big renovation. It was value for money and that is why I... More

Booked to return to this hotel as last visit was good. It ticked all my boxes ie. wifi, tv, tea/coffee facilities car parking and own bathroom. Very disappointed the receptionist lied to me saying firstly hotel had no wifi then saying it was out of order. I found out later it was because I was on 6th floor, he offered... More

I have stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel is in a great location. Close to bus stop, metro, hop on hop off bus stop and restaurants. Room was large and very beautiful. Breakfast was good. Staff were NOT that much friendly but helpful. During my stay there was problem with WIFI. They haven't resolved it for 3 days. If you... More

I don't know how this hotel got to be classified as a 4 star hotel. Rude staff, no wifi at rooms, my bath towel had a huge hole in it (showing too much use), the room is really old with old carpets. I have my doubts that is should be a 3 star.

We stayed at the Hotel Diplomatica in Lisbon in July 2014 and it was definitely not a four star hotel. Really basic amenities, extremely unfriendly staff, less than appetizing breakfast and broken shower facilities. Will definitely not be back!

Decent wifi is about the best thing that can be said. Everything else was below average and the sliding door on the balcony had a broken hinge. I would only suggest staying here if you can get a good deal online or really need to stay in the area.

A centrally located hotel, very convenient for Metro and bus. Accommodation was quiet, clean, comfortable and good value. Hotel facilities were basic, definitely no frills, but staff were polite and welcoming. The bar wasn't open during our stay and the restaurant does not not open at night for dinner, so the hotel had no atmosphere in the evening. This is... More

After arriving at Lisboa, went to this Hotel, and ask in the front desk, and been attended by Sr Carlos, the chief receptionist there, and with a really bad attitude ask my for my CC, and Passp. And not even check, start sending the bill for $66,00 euros, the traeatment from this person, it says a lot, specially if is... More

It might not be a luxury hotel, but it is definitely a good hotel - clean, comfortable beds, very spacious room and bathroom, a big wardrobe and space in front of it to place your suitcases, very good location, double glazing to protect from the noise outside. Very good value for money. If we visit Lisbon again we shall definitely... More
