Both my wife and I are seasoned travellers and stay in Best Western hotels on average 60 nights a year. I can honestly say with hand on heart this is not an experience that we want to repeat. Here are a few of our experiences. 1. Bedrooms very cramped with carpets smelling of damp and needing a good hoover. 2.... more

We stayed in July, we were in a room at the front of the hotel. The website said that all rooms have air-con, this is true but it does not work very well. We had to open the windows to try to get some air in to our room and it was very noisy with the constant stream of traffic... more

We stayed here for a weekend break in April 07. The rooms appeared to be an absolute bargain at £38 per night for the 2 of us with breakfast included (Best Western early web special). In fact, they were, but I was slightly disappointed because as a 'Premier' Best Western I expected more - Glad I didn't pay the full... more

The location was very good, with lots of transport links close by. A comfortable and clean room with an average continental buffet breakfast included. The only thing was it was a bit expensive, because they hiked up the prices for the football Euro 2004. more

This hotel is a block away from the Parque Metro stop in a decent location in Lisbon. It is a bit North of the major attractions, but it is close to the Gulbenkian Museum. The Metro is a great alternative to walking, but the walk down to the old centre of Lisbon is all down-hill from the hotel. The staff... more

I arrived from a cruise ship an spent two nights here. It was a bit further from the centre than I had expected but no problem as I purchased a one day travel anywhere bus ticket. The hotel has an elevator and there was no problem with an early check in. The rooms were clean and comfortable but nothing special.... more

i stayed there for a week, it's wasn't really bad but we got some problems. There were bad odours from the bathroom and the room was old furnished. Breakfast was good, and we got problems with the payment because they wanted only the voucher (which payed the first three days) and nothing more, even if we said that it wasn't... more

Three nights in early September. Expected a no-frills budget hotel with basic facilities and carbohydrate breakfast. What we got was slightly better with a comfortable & reasonably sized room, effective air conditioning and clean, functional bathroom. Breakfast was chaotic & crowded but acceptable. The location is reasonably central with good bus & metro routes within 2 minutes. A good base... more

We stayed for a couple of nights in this hotel. The room was really small and narrow, and I kind of had the feeling the water was very smelly. When we arrives at the hotel we were greeted but I had the expression we weren't really welcomed, and we had to ask a lot of questions to get all the... more

This hotel was very reasonable at €75 per room per night. The room was reasonably clean but very old fashioned and drab. Outside noise wasnt too bad. Facilities in the room were fine and the bathroom was clean. Location is OK, baixa district is a 15-20 minute stroll and the metro is great. Smoking was not an issue. We booked... more
