Our first trip to Portugal. The Hotel Eduardo VII served us very well. Allowed us to check in 2 hours early. Very clean room and property. We had an "economy" room, #115, big enough for the two of us. Air cond worked very well, windows opened too. Flat screen tv. Decent sized bathroom w/shower only. Basic toiletries. Unlike previous posters,... More

The hotel is really well positioned: 15 min walking distance to downtown, metro and bus stations at less than 3 minutes walking. The budget is also ok. Unfortunately these are the only two qualities of this hotel. The rooms are small and not comfortable. This could be still ok if you are not intending to spend too much time in.... More

We had a scary experience during Aug 2014 at this hotel. At first we received a room that I think was never-ever renovated....the smell, the size of the room, the windows, the TV, the walls...everything was old, damaged, dirty, full of mold a.s.o.. In the middle of the night, we heard noises, when I turn on the light, the room... More

I stayed in this hotel for 8nights and have no complaints. The staff were very polite and helpful. The locations is very good! There are restaurants just outside the door, it's very close to the Eduardo VII Park, its about 20mins walk to the centre of town and there are plenty of buses and metro stops near by. Breakfast in... More

The location of the hotel is very good. Very close to the metro station. It's a 20 minute walk downhill to the city centre and the neighbourhood is nice. Next to the hotel there are a few small restaurants, who serve very good food. The breakfast was nothing special, the same thing every day, and not very tasty. We were... More

I usually go to Lisbon two or three times a year and it was the first time stayed in this hotel. I assume I had a wonderful stay. The staff is so gentle that it makes the difference. The location is good, near the subway line and many bus stops. There is a restaurant at the tenth floor. The airport... More

Stayed there back in 2008...very central, close to the metro and the city center...rooms were not big but not a disappointment after all...Staff was helpful and polite and ready to assist in whatever you requested! The building is old and back then the whole hotel needed renovation...maybe today things have changed a lot...Not a bad choice to stay there after all...especially... We stayed Tue - Mon mid July for the Optimus (Nos) Alive festival. There were 5 of us over 2 rooms, we paid £100 each. The hotel is relatively small and dated. The lifts are very 'vintage' and you do take your life in to your own hands on every ride. We took the stairs most times but on the... More

Hotel was ok, just enough for our needs. Location was great, there is a metro station only few metres away and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the centre. Road from the hotel to the centre was very pleasant to walk, there is plenty of fashion stores, park cafés etc so we walked there almost every time. Parque... More
