We had a pleasant stay in the beggining of december. The staff was very friendly and we had no problems with the wifi (we were on the 1st floor). The rooms were fine and clean. The hotel has a great location, just few minutes from the amazing park Eduardo VII and 15-20 min from the main square. Metro station is... More

A not bad hotel.its nearly there. The wifi was inconsistant.breakfast was ample, fruit cerial.cheese ham, coffee tea juice, scrambled eggs, but sadly it was the same everyday a little variety and it would of been excellent. The hotel itself must of been very impressive in its heyday but is a little dated now. Location is good for the metro and buses, the rooms are... More

The WiFi was very intermittent - especially when we had the window open! The room smelled of smoke although the hotel claimed to be totally non-smoking. Breakfast had a limited choice but OK. The location was excellent: 2 minute walk from the Metro and less than a minute from bus stops, including the Airport bus. It is on a busy... More

Room was clean and small, but well enough to sleep, so it was good base. Breakfast was plentiful and served with good view. Good start for a day. Location was ideal for us. We spend lot of time in town and Parque metro station was near, so it was easy to come and go to town and airport. Lisbon's metro... More

I know and love this hotel and have been coming here for years. The staff are (nearly) all welcoming and helpful and I just like the faded décor and furniture. I want to clear up a couple of points. The WiFi has never given me a problem on any of my stays. This time I was in room 815 and... More

TV didn't work; WIFI was pretty bad and at times not working at all; the double bed we had was very wobbly and once one of us turned round you had to fear to fall out; bathroom was clean but very old; toilet flush got off by itself in the mid of the night and didn't stop refilling until morning;... I was there on the night of Sep 9. It was not my first choice, I was at America Diamands for two days earlier but I failed to book on time and I gost stuck picking this cheaper hotel. Nothing works in this place. First off they didnt find my reservation, it took an hour and skilled computer staff to... More

Our first trip to Portugal. The Hotel Eduardo VII served us very well. Allowed us to check in 2 hours early. Very clean room and property. We had an "economy" room, #115, big enough for the two of us. Air cond worked very well, windows opened too. Flat screen tv. Decent sized bathroom w/shower only. Basic toiletries. Unlike previous posters,... More

The hotel is really well positioned: 15 min walking distance to downtown, metro and bus stations at less than 3 minutes walking. The budget is also ok. Unfortunately these are the only two qualities of this hotel. The rooms are small and not comfortable. This could be still ok if you are not intending to spend too much time in.... More

We had a scary experience during Aug 2014 at this hotel. At first we received a room that I think was never-ever renovated....the smell, the size of the room, the windows, the TV, the walls...everything was old, damaged, dirty, full of mold a.s.o.. In the middle of the night, we heard noises, when I turn on the light, the room... More
