We visited Lisbon and stay at Eduardo VII at the end of June 2014 for 3 nights. The room was small with two separate beds. Beds was narrow for one person and shaky. The noise from street came even at night. The room was fine, the bathroom tiny Breakfast was served on 10th floor with glass covered terrace and view... More

Had the oportunity to visit Lisbon last June. Stayed in this Hotel for a very good price (best i could find). Great location with so many transports available, great experiencied staff, room confortable enough. Breakfast is served on the 10th floor. I only wished that could have more to choose from on the buffet. The man that helped us with... More

I checked in for business purposes. I had meetings during the day, sight-seeing during the evenings, so I did not spend too much time in this hotel room. The room was quite small, with not too much space to move around. The wardrobe - whose inner walls were coated in plaster - smelled bad and was kind of dirty inside.... More

It was the start of a whirlwind 5-city European vacation for myself and husband to celebrate 25 years together. It had also been over 30 years since my last trip to Europe but my husband's maiden voyage. We were excited to see Lisbon and we got an initial glimpse of it from our coach bus that we picked up on... More

You really won't find a lot of hotels like this anymore, anywhere. The elevators are cramped, the rooms are just adequately sized, the bathrooms kind of awkward, and the lobby something you only see in 70s movies. But it's well-maintained, the staff is experienced and perfectly helpful, and if you put yourself in the right mind frame, you will find... More

We read the rather negative reviews and were prepared to be disappointed, but in fact found the hotel excellent. It is a bit run down, but the rooms themselves are fine, very clean and quiet (best to ask for a room at the back). The beds were comfortable, and we slept very well. We didn't need the air-conditioning on, so... More

Stayed at hotel two nights, booked a double room and got one at the first floor. Although the entrance and the lobby downstairs looks good, the elevator and the room I stayed in needs a refresh and as soon as possible. The room was extremely small. Between the both of us and our two luggages (which were not really large),... More

Run down hotel, noisy, too hot and out-dated. The lift is so old fashioned it feels unsafe. The only good thing about the hotel is the lovely bell-hop - a lovely elderly gentleman that does his best. We has an absolutely awful nights sleep and felt exhausted the whole time. We wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Yes it was... More

Definitely not a 3 star establishment. Rooms are shabby, stuffy, noisy and the whole hotel needs to be renovated! 3 sleepless nights. Only breakfast and location are ok. Air-conditioning is really noisy and I did not dare to turn it on anyway because I wasn't sure of what I was going to be breathing!! So I prefered to leave the... More

Eduardo is no faded Grand Dame-just shabby and in need of reburbishment. Blonde 1980's furniture; threadbare drapes and carpet; painting needed; dark corriders. My room had previous water damage at top of ceiling & now paint blistering; same with wall under the window. Decent housekeeping however and breakfast ok in 10th floor restaurant with great view. Staff seems efficient but... More
