This hotel is in a great location about 10 minute walk from the old centre of the city and close to a beautiful park with great views over the city. The hotel is clean and comfrtable although my room was small! Service is attentive. The decor is very dated - it seems to be stuck in the 1950s!! more

Please read all this review to understand my overall marking. In a good, safe location, sort of in the business district. The hotel is undergoing an outside facelift at the moment, but it did not affect our stay. We asked for a quiet room, as many of the hotels are on major roads and traffic noise might be a problem.... more

We chose the Best Western Eduardo VII due to its relative proximity to the airport and reasonable rate, as we were only staying for one night before picking up a rental car. For the duration of our short stay, we did not have any complaints, however there was nothing memorable about this hotel. Front desk staff was pleasant upon check... more

Most of the rooms are too noisy because of the traffic but also the pipes: we stayed 4 nights and change room twice... more

The air conditioning in our room was totally inefficient, may as well have not had it on at all and saved yourself listening to the annoying hum. We set it at -5 degrees with no affect. We visited in early April 2008 and it was warm then 23 degrees This would be unbearable later in the year. This Hotel is... more

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. This is a very modest hotel, well located and close to the metro. The best advantage of the hotel is that the price per night is cheap. The room was OK, but the TV set very small and old fashioned. The bath claimed for an urgent renovation. The breakfast... more

I chose this hotel rather than going for an Ibis hotel, which is the chain of hotels that my husband and I normally use. I think the saying "the grass isn't always greener" would be a good way of describing my experience. I chose this hotel because I had heard that Best Western hotels are meant to be of good... more

Hotel is in the new commercial center of Lisabon. For reaching the old town quarter,ca & km good walk. All the practical facilities are available, typical an Olympic city as everywhere. Small, and only 2 lifts, when one lft is out of order, then chaos. Chamber is small, because the 2 sepatated beds are too big! Air Condition is good and quiet. Breakfast is OK. ,I prefer... more

I've been to Lisbon before and this time chose Hotel Eduardo VII mainly because it was a good deal (in Expedia) and for it's location. It's a five minute walk from Parque metro station (Blue line), 10 minutes from Baixa/Chiado (centre of town) and 10 minutes from the Colombo shopping Centre at Colégio Militar/ Luz. I go to Lisbon to... more

My trip in Portugal was for 3/4 based in Lisboa. This hotel, even if appears to be far from the town center is really well served by public transport: taxi at very low cost (with repect of italian fares), metro at less than 200 meters, bus stop in front of the hotel, allow everyone to reach the center and the... more
