My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. This is a very modest hotel, well located and close to the metro. The best advantage of the hotel is that the price per night is cheap. The room was OK, but the TV set very small and old fashioned. The bath claimed for an urgent renovation. The breakfast... more

I chose this hotel rather than going for an Ibis hotel, which is the chain of hotels that my husband and I normally use. I think the saying "the grass isn't always greener" would be a good way of describing my experience. I chose this hotel because I had heard that Best Western hotels are meant to be of good... more

Hotel is in the new commercial center of Lisabon. For reaching the old town quarter,ca & km good walk. All the practical facilities are available, typical an Olympic city as everywhere. Small, and only 2 lifts, when one lft is out of order, then chaos. Chamber is small, because the 2 sepatated beds are too big! Air Condition is good and quiet. Breakfast is OK. ,I prefer... more

I've been to Lisbon before and this time chose Hotel Eduardo VII mainly because it was a good deal (in Expedia) and for it's location. It's a five minute walk from Parque metro station (Blue line), 10 minutes from Baixa/Chiado (centre of town) and 10 minutes from the Colombo shopping Centre at Colégio Militar/ Luz. I go to Lisbon to... more

My trip in Portugal was for 3/4 based in Lisboa. This hotel, even if appears to be far from the town center is really well served by public transport: taxi at very low cost (with repect of italian fares), metro at less than 200 meters, bus stop in front of the hotel, allow everyone to reach the center and the... more

I have read some of the reviews which suggest that this hotel is dirty and undesirable. This was certainly not the case, there is no doubt that the hotel is dated and is well overdue for renovation but I found it to be very clean both in my room and throughout the hotel. My room was very small and at... more

Both my wife and I are seasoned travellers and stay in Best Western hotels on average 60 nights a year. I can honestly say with hand on heart this is not an experience that we want to repeat. Here are a few of our experiences. 1. Bedrooms very cramped with carpets smelling of damp and needing a good hoover. 2.... more

We stayed in July, we were in a room at the front of the hotel. The website said that all rooms have air-con, this is true but it does not work very well. We had to open the windows to try to get some air in to our room and it was very noisy with the constant stream of traffic... more

We stayed here for a weekend break in April 07. The rooms appeared to be an absolute bargain at £38 per night for the 2 of us with breakfast included (Best Western early web special). In fact, they were, but I was slightly disappointed because as a 'Premier' Best Western I expected more - Glad I didn't pay the full... more

The location was very good, with lots of transport links close by. A comfortable and clean room with an average continental buffet breakfast included. The only thing was it was a bit expensive, because they hiked up the prices for the football Euro 2004. more
