We stayed at Brown's for 5 nights and had a street side view on the top floor... It was perfect! The hotel was clean, unique and in a great location. We walked to do most of our explorations of the city, but it was close to the tram stop and metro for the days we wanted to venture farther. The... More

We stayed only one night in Brown's Downtown but it was awesome. The location couldn't be any better. Right at the heart of the city and very close to Bairro Alto area as well. The hotel can be easily missed from the street as there are no large signs or anything so pay attention when arriving. The reception area is... More

The hotel is located in the old city center of Lisboa. Modern and very nice inside architecture and decorated rooms. The rooms were a little bit small but okay if you know you are in the center of the city. Breakfast is serviced in the coffee shop next door which is a nice location. The only minus is the content... When we stayed in Lisbon we were coming to the end of a 3 week vacation. We were exhausted and prepared to go home. Brown's made me want to extend for a month. The ammentities are nothing to shout about but the location was exceptional. Smack-dab in the middle downtown, 10 min walk from anywhere. The room was also a... More

I stayed here only for one night in Lisboa in July but found myself wishing I had booked for longer. The location was perfectly situated in downtown Lisboa very close to the metro an old city. The lobby looks like a designer furniture store I loved the trendy but casual setting moving away from the traditional big desk where the... More

The Hotel is situated Baxia-Lisbon and is a perfect located for the start of your Lisbon exploration. The design rooms are large & beautiful - PC available. The staff is friendly and helped us out finding train tickets. A hipster lobby and copious breakfast is served at brown's cafe down the road.

I was slightly anxious about booking here as I was not familiar with the City and being allocated a Small Room. No need to worry....from the start they were excellent, a couple of days before they sent a welcoming e-mail asking if there was anything they could arrange for me (nice touch). Its location is perfect, right in the heart... More

This is a very cool, design hotel. It definitley has a character and the decor is superb. I like unique places like that. The good: very cool lobby, trendy design, free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby, good Wifi, nice rooms, iMacs and iPads in each room! Excellent location close to everything. Decent price. The bad: weak customer... More

We had a delightful two-day stay at Brown's Downtown. Duarte, Jorge and the rest of the staff were absolutely charming and helpful during our visit. We first visited Brown's Downtown in 2013 (while staying in Bairo Alto) and decided it would be a better choice for lodging in Lisbon. We were not disappointed! The hotel is beautifully appointed, especially the... More
