It looked great on the website, but that did not do it justice. The service, the standard of rooms, the lobby, and the sky bar, everything was outstanding. Excellent location, Right near all the attractions. Airport Bus drops you off within 5 min walk from the hotel. Subway stations very close by in 2 different lines (red and green I think). The location is great. The staff is also great. I can say that hotel was not very good, but not bad either. Anyway, I do not think that is a 5* hotel. The Tivoli is a wonderful hotel. (not a hip hotel vibe... for that go down the street to the Sofitel). The hotel is definitely old world in terms of decoration but the rooms are recently furnished. Nice hotel in the middle of Lisbon, close to all major attractions, adn close to subway station. The hotel is located on the main avenue. Great location, midway down the Avenida da Liberdade and one block from the Metro. We were upgraded on arrival to one of the newly refurbished rooms on the upper floors - brilliant views of the castle and the Avenida, and very quiet - and the Brasserie Flo for breakfast (and even lunch) was a delight. AMAZING CONCIERGE... unmatched by anyother for their heart and sincerity.
