Location, location. Quiet neighborhood, short walk to Metro, borders Parque Eduardo (book parkside room). Helpful and efficient front desk staff. Nice room, great beds, no noise from other rooms. The room is very big and clean, an wonderfull view of Parque Eduardo VII from the window, nice staff, good shower, spotless towels and bedlinen, good breakfeast (real coffee, eggs, fresh bread and fruits, real orange juice...) really worth! For the money one spends on this hotel you can't get much more. Excellent location: in Lisbon you need a ticket for public transport to really enjoy the city anyway, so there are no hotels close to 'everything'. Located less than 2 minutes walk from the Parque subway station and about 5 minutes walk to the Marquês De Pombal subway station (on the blue line). It was easy to get around from here. Very friendly staff, couldn't be more helpful. Well located next to the metro (if like me the thought of the underground fills you full of terror, never fear - an exceptionally safe/easy to use system that will take you around most of Lison).
