We spent a lovely 3 days here. Although the area is rather run down it has quite a lot of character and is well placed for transport, both within Lisbon and to other places. We arrived quite early and were very warmly welcomed, offered some late breakfast and could check straight in to our room. The room was of a... More

We had a superb stay in the Ribeira Tejo Guesthouse in Lisbon. Travelling with a 7 month old baby it was not easy for us to find a room, but in this questhouse it was no trouble at all! Everyone of the staff was very kind and helpfull, the rooms were clean, very good and fresh breakfast. We will definitely... More

We stayed here as a family of 5 in October for one night before driving down to the Algarve. My husband and I wanted to return to Lisbon after having our first visit in June and really enjoying it, so we travelled with 17-year old twins and a 4-year old. I selected a double room with a view for the... More

This hotel was located 10-15 walking minutes to a center, however, it's also located in the area that has not been renovated yet. Streets around hotel are dirty and most buildings look old and broken. We had a nice room, but there was a bar underneath our windows and we had music blasting till about 2am 3 nights out of... As a travel writer I travel frequently and stay in a variety of hotels. Some can be bland, others ok, and then there are the gems. The ones that you like so much, you wish you could stay longer. The Ribiera Tejo was exactly this. After the hectic pace of walking and visiting sites all day, the guesthouse offers the... More

We booked this place based on trip advisor reviews as we were looking for a place to stay for three nights after staying in Porto for one week.First impressions when getting out of the taxi were not good , a green plastic rubbish bin and a large green garage type door. Press buzzer, told "come to the fifth floor", got... More

I had expectations with this hotel, given its good references in TripAdvisor. This small hotel is new and its location great, near a number of Lisbon attractions, although is in a block of properties that look like a ghetto; the hotel is located at the back of the Lisbon Market, with lots of litter, graffiti and abandoned houses that when... Dear guest, When you made your reservation, you have been informed that check-out is until 11 am. Our check-in time starts at 3 pm and our compromise towards each of our guests is to have all rooms ready at that time. After you requested by mail a late check-out, we informed you immediately that it would not be possible to... More

We stayed for three evenings in Lisbon, and this hotel was perfect for us. Very nice room, which includes a small mini-bar, safe, and spacious sitting area, as well as a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Staff are very courteous and helpful - we got some great advice on dinner. I also have to say, that the fare is very... More
