Stayed for three nights while attending a conference at the University. Essentially a very solid three star hotel, slightly faded and jaded in places, but with a warm welcome. Room was clean and a decent size - a bit under-equipped without a fridge/minibar, working safe, or tea/coffee facilities, and a little in need of a spruce up. Beds a little... More

This is truly a Jekyll and Hyde hotel. Evening desk staff not particularly helpful and my first night was uncomfortable and sleepless as I was in a cramped room with 2 single beds facing an extremely busy street and the noise was incredible. However, the day staff were wonderful, and I was moved into one of the quieter courtyard rooms... More

Well located, comfortable room, nice enough staff. We (hubby and I) stayed with our 7 month old and would recomend it! The room was good size, with great closets, free wifi, the only thing missing was the refrigerator. The bathroom was nice. They put a craddle in for us. The airport was really close, we took the aerobus and it... More

Having a plane to catch early morning at LIS, this hotel revealed very well located, near the airport, just 5 minutes by taxi, underground at 200m distance, restaurants and mall very close, and at just 30m walking from the city centre... Honest room, cleaning and accommodation average/good, breakfast a bit "short" on variety. Overall good price/quality relation.

The room was well presented with modern decor and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, but the bacon, sausages and ham were presumably not pork (Muslim regulations?) and unfortunately did not taste of much. The general atmosphere was 'subdued'.

This hotel is in a very handy location for the Metro, airport bus and for a taxi to and from the airport. It is comfortable, clean, quiet and with very helpful and friendly staff. The breakast buffet is excellent. My room was very comfortable and clean. It would be useful if you didn't have to log into the WiFi every... More

An unpretentious hotel in a stunning (and convenient) location. I would specially like to commend the staff. Whether it was the people at the front desk, the cleaning staff or the breakfast-room staff, all were charming and went out of their way to be helpful.

Just next to "Campo Pequeno". Good location if you're going by car/taxi or metro. Nice and comfortable hotel, nothing fancy, but with all the commodities you could need. Professional and friendly staff. Quiet rooms, with good hygiene. Breakfast if buffet, with views on top of the building. Good price/quality ratio.

Please do not confuse this hotel with the four star Hotel Alif Avenidas which is shown mistakenly in the picture. I am writing about the three star hotel Alif which is older and cheaper. I recommend it because of the price, close location to the Metro yellow line and the pleasant people who are running it. The rooms are furnished... More

Our stay in Hotel Alif was OK, but just OK. First of all, although the location is nice, since it's across from the park and the bullfighting Arena and it's quite safe at night, it's far from the city center. Also, you have to switch metros in order to get down town, so it's easier to take a bus. But... More
