Just returned from a week in Alif Hotel Lisbon in June 09 and was worried after reading some reviews about location and eating places in area but both were ok. While Hotel Alif is in north of Lisbon 10 mins from airport access to Airport and city centre was no problem.Bussess and metro are on the other side of Hotel... more
Hotel Alif gave good value for money. Nice basic rooms and a nice staff. Location was convenient and I especially liked the breakfast. The breakfast room has a great view and there´s plenty to choose from. more

Buy a one day pass for Euro3.70 in metro station . This gives you 24 hours travel on ALL transport options. Rooms are comfortable with all the usual facilities. Housekeeping is... more

The hotel was ideally situated for both grounds in the northern part of the city. It took me about 10 minutes on the bus from the airport to Campo Pequeno by the bullring. Our first concern was with the car.... more

I am very familiar with Lisbon and when I booked this hotel over the phone, I knew that the hotel was situated in a very safe & nice part... more
Hotel Alif is located in the north of the city with good transport links to the city. Alternatively its a straight walk down to the city centre around 30-45 mins. The room in the hotel is more than adequate if you plan to spend your time out and about. Breakfast is good with choices of breads, pastries, eggs, tea and... more
The Alif hotel is a good, clean hotel. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast, with Cheese, ham, Croissants, fruit (although tinned and not fresh) cereals, pastries and yoghurts. The breakfast was buffet style and set you up fine. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with more than ample storage. (note there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms). The... more
