This was the second time I stayed here for one night on business. The WiFi was excellent, and the rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the typical buffet style with a good selection of items. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel do chiado is very well located in chiado area which is a very animated distract . The charm of this hotel is it's view from the top floor, and the terraces of the premium room. That is the only high light of this hotel! The lighting of common area of the hotel is very poor ,neonish light.,common area has... More

My boyfriend and I were celebrating 10 years together and decided to splurge a bit on a terrace room - I'm so glad we did! The view is amazing and the hotel staff, rooms, and service was outstanding. The location is amazing because you're close to the metro, lots of shopping and choices for restaurants. Plus the view of the... More

Location it's the word. And it brings good and bad things. The good: it's located in the best part of the city, with excellent views from the rooftop bar and some of the rooms. Car park and wi-fi in the rooms. The bad: a lot of noise from the street at night, car park hard to find, busy streets.

Stayed here on a business trip for three days. Convenient city centre hotel with fantastic views over the old town from the terrace bar. Attentive and friendly staff. Wifi worked well which was important. Didn't use the restaurant as it's surrounded by local restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Lovely city and will return

Very friendly and competent personnel on the hotel's reception, made us feel welcome. We had a room to the front which was quite noise and with very small which could not be open. Negative for us was the breakfast, only one person on service which made all the guests wait and buffet was not re filled ...the hotel is worth... More

The hotel is neat and well kept. The location is almost optimal, the subway station is literally below the hotel, although the entrance to the metro station is on the opposite side of the building than the entrance to the hotel. Our room had a pretty french balcony.

Once in a while we stay at Hotel do Chiado. Location is perfect, the views are superb, the quality is very good, quietness is real, you can go to the bar and have a tea or beer looking to Castelo de S. Jorge. If you choose a room in the upper floor you have a balcony and one of the... More

If you pay for the top floor room with a view of the castle...you got the best view of the old town and castle in Lisbon! You also get a small terrace and the room is big and bed enormous! The only minus points are for the noise level at the weekend- DJ in the bar and for breakfast. Cold... More

Great location with everything in close proximity. Large rooms, often with nice views. I usually book a larger room since I stay 3-4 nights and I want more space and a proper desk for my laptop, wich makes the stay a bit more expensive. The breakfast needs to be upgraded/improved! Way too few choices with regards to bread, fresh fruit... More
