Hotel is at the fringe of the city centre. Location is convenient as hotel is just next to metro station (São Sebastião), which is the last station direct from the airport. Do note that must get out from the correct metro exit, as the road surface is rough to drag the luggage. Turn left when exit from the train, go... More

We expected that a city centre hotel would have small rooms, but ours on the 8th floor was spacious, modern design, very clean, and even had a small balcony. The hotel is very well placed with a metro station just across the road, and we found we could walk to the city centre, but it weas a good walk. The... More

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's only a few steps away from the metro (10-20 steps). You just cross the street and the entrance to the metro is right there. Extremely easy access to the rest of the city! The rooms were clean and functional, and the free wi-fi worked just like it should. Staff were... More

Our family stayed at the Hotel Principe Lisboa for one night and we found the front desk staff to be very attentive, spoke great English, and provided excellent instructions on which buses to take to get to our desired destinations. The rooms were contemporary, very clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The air con worked great. Breakfast was ok, pretty basic.... More

This hotel has nice prices and includes breakfast. Breakfast is good but poor with dairy products, patisserie, bread, cereals, juices coffee and tea. Bedrooms are not that big, but, for a weekend it's enough. Great location in front of a subway access. Not walking distance from city centre.

Extremely poor breakfast is this hotel's main problem. We've just spent a week in Lisbon - at Principe Lisboa in particular. And every day breakfast was exactly the same: cheese and ham, absolutely no eggs or vegetables, excessive pastry and (fresh) fruits to save the day. Also, the serving area is very cramped, resulting in people stepping on each other's... More

This hotel is small, but very clean and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's five minutes away from one of Lisbon's principle parks, and we are able to walk right down into the centre of the city and the Baixa area. Coming back the other way (uphill), there's a Metro stop close by. It's also right beside the... More

When we booked this hotel we didn't realise it was 3 star but we soon found out it was 4 star quality. The hotel is spotlessly clean as was our room which was well appointed with a balcony and a fridge. There was an excellent large shower in the bathroom. The continental buffet breakfast was superb, lovely fresh fruit platter,... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2015

Stayed here for three nights in March. Great location, meters from the metro station. My booking rate didn't include breakfast but we could still just turn up at the hotel restaurant and have it for 6 euros pp only, which I think is a great price for a buffet. Overall great value for money.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2015

We stayed here for 5 nights, so easy to arrive from airport using Metro. Room very comfortable, we upgraded to have a balcony which was lovely in the warm weather. The beds are comfortable, there was plenty of room and the breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh fruits, yoghurts and breads, meats and cheeses. Approx 7 mins on metro... More
