We stayed at Principe Lisboa in September. The hotel is well located, clean and cozy. The area is very safe at night, we had a very unpleasant experience in Alfama... In our opinion, it is better to stay in this part of Lisbon and just visit the oldest ones. Highly recommended!

Perfect hotel for a short city break. Close to San Sebastiao Metro station and the Yellow bus tour stop 9. Walking distance from the city centre, very helpful staff, nice sized double room and very clean. Continental Breakfast was included which Id recommend.

Stayed one night on business. Clean and comfortable although the BBC News 24 channel (the only one I wanted to watch) was poorly tuned. Good breakfast but no chef on the night I stayed so I was taken to a 'restaurant' almost opposite the hotel. The food here was not to the standard of the hotel. The staff however were... More

Stayed recently. A comfortable clean room facing the street. Some noise but reality was that we stayed for 7 nights and soon got over the street noise. It is not a busy thoroughfare, being only one way. Breakfast was good. Very convenient location with fantastic Museum where there is an excellent cafe nearby and a Metro station is below in... More

The hotel has a very good location in a very nice and modern part of the city. Metro station is across the street. Rooms are big and very clean. Excellent beds and quiet nights - but keep windows closed since the trucks that pick garbage make a lot of noise early in the morning. The staff is very helpful and... More

Perfect for families in the family room. Very reasonable room rate, great breakfast and very helpful staff. Good bar for late arrivals / late snack supper. took taxis from airport and to centre of town. found getting to it in a hire car more difficult with one way systems. would highly recommend.

The room in this hotel was very small with little storage space. The bathroom was not particularly clean - we had somebody´s hair in the shower and on the floor which I found quite disgusting. But it got better the next day (maybe a new cleaning lady?). The noise from the street is quite loud, but if you close the... More

I stayed at this hotel for four days during the beginning of June. The hotel was clean, staff are polite and rooms are modern. Our room was a good size, with a mini fridge, large bathroom, two single beds, balcony and dressing table - our room also got cleaned and beds made each day. We also had our breakfast included in... More

I stayed here as a single traveler for 10 nights on my first visit to Portugal and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was very modern and convenient. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a great grocery store a short distance away and a convenient red line metro station directly in front... More

A clean and very reasonably priced hotel. Although not central to town, the MRT station is right across the street with a ten minute journey to the city and less than 30 minutes to the airport. Breakfast is adequate although with limited choice. Wifi was free. Staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful in directing me to all visitor attractions.... More
