The staff try so hard in this hotel but they seem rather young and inexperienced. Still, they do bend over backwards to help you. The faults with this hotel are not related to staff. This is an expensive hotel yet there was no kettle in the room so that I could make myself tea or coffee - standard in the... More

I stayed for one night at this SLH hotel, and at 71 eur with breakfast it was a real bargain. The hotel does have an unusual theme that did not bother me, and was different at least. When I got to the room it smelled like cigarettes even if the hotel is non smoking, and I was immediately upgraded to... More

I found this hotel very comfortable, a nice, spacious room and well located in a quiet part of the city. Many have spoken about the rather unusual school theme, which I found rather endearing. Wifi is available in the library downstairs and they did give me a wire to connect in my room, if I desired. The staff were very... More

Very nice the design related to the theme of the school. Big room and very comfortable bed. Convenient location, quiet and not so far from the centre. Good restaurant, but unfortunately closed on Sunday and Monday. WiFi not available in the rooms, it is a pity.

The accommodation and room I had was fine; clean and modern. I was only there for one evening and wanted a light meal - so opted to eat in the bar. However it turns out that their bar meals are only the starters from the main menu! So unless you are particularly fond of soup this doesn't really work. Also... More

this place was great in all aspects. Concept was fun. Rooms modern, spacious, and comfortable, and we had a great meal where we chose the price. Our room was amazingly quiet in the big city as well. Couldn't think of one thing to improve

I came here for just one night on a business trip so didn't really have the chance to properly sample its delights. A fun school theme throughout the hotel (including in the restaurant) and really excellent service. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This place is awesome all around, Boutique, Hip, Friendly, Cool rooms. The view is not the best, but not needed with the cool amenities. Xavier in the concierge is AWESOME. He helped me to get a stay for two nights at a sister Hotel in Mancarapacho, that was superb. Girl at the breakfast buffet is a rockstar, and very helpful.... More

The Hotel Da Estrela is located in the quieter Lisbon suburb of Santa Isabel next to the Lisbon School of Hotels and Tourism. A former school itself, it uses a classroom theme throughout the hotel with information chalked on slate boards and a reception area that feels very much like the Headmaster’s study. The rooms are furnished in a modern... More

Hotel was a former school, which was converted into a small modern Design hotel. The design you may not always find functional, but you feel all was done by heart. It´s loctaed in a quiet residential area, a little away from the center. ,To reach the center you either can catch the foumous tram 28 line or the tube a... More
