Together with my girl we experienced a very relaxed but at the same time a perfectly balanced time at Britania. The way Jefferson makes a Vodka on the rocks but also the attention for the breakfast, free port cabinet in the lounge and the great nostalgic rooms made our stay one of the best of what we experienced in many... The rooms in this excellent art deco boutique hotel in Lisbon, located in a quiet street close to the centre, are spacious and comfortable. After a good night's sleep a superb buffet breakfast awaited us. All the staff are friendly, professional and helpful with ready smiles. All of these combine to ensure that we will return.

What a terrific, well-run hotel! Other reviewers have captured it. This place is clean, comfortable, well-located and well-staffed. The breakfast service is top shelf with friendly staff and beautiful settings. You won't have an incredible view or an address at the finest boulevard, but you'll have a great value, a nice attitude, a sweet night's rest, and a full breakfast... More

We spent four nights here. Clean, great sized room. Best four nights sleep I have had in a hotel for a long time. Friendly and helpful staff. Attention to detail even tidied our shoes and slippers! Would recommend massively for great location too. Brilliant 😃

If charming boutique hotel, with impeccable service, is your thing, this is the place to stay. The staff on the front desk were extremely helpful with suggestions for eating out, as well as guidance on visitor tours. Our standard room was spacious, and the double bed huge. Afternoon tea with local pastries is provided every day at 5, and there... More

Spent 4 nights at this amazing hotel. From start to finish the staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The deluxe room was large with a huge bed and plenty of bedding and pillows. The breakfest was buffet style with hot sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. The cold items included cheeses, ham, salami, asparagus tips and smoked and unsmoked... More

This hotel was as good as we expected and consistent with Trip Advisor comments! Helpful staff, nice rooms, excellent breakfast. The location is helpful too. The only thing that did not appeal was the "nightlife" in the area adjacent to the hotel. The last night we were there we even saw some drug dealing activity about 300m away from the... More

My wife and I stayed at the Britania for a 2-night, 3 day city break at the beginning of April. We arrived at the hotel at around 10am and were very pleased to hear that our room was ready for check-in straight away and that after we had unpacked we could come down for breakfast. Throughout our stay nothing was... More

Beautiful art-deco hotel with efficient, lovely staff! Attentive, but relaxed. Close to the historic city sights, yet quiet and ambient. We also got a great deal through Expedia, so not too expensive. 5* all round, although we never ate there. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. More of an older couples destination perhaps... we're 46!

Well located in a quiet street, yet no more than 10 minutes walk from the historic center and all it's attractions, this is a lovely place to stay. Very friendly staff, a copious breakfast buffet (served untill noon !), with an expresso machine, excellent green tea and comfortable rooms and beds. Perfect. One caveat in general in Lisbon: do not... More
