Everything is walking distance! As the hotel is in the center of the city, the room is not very spacious(though you have lot of space to store your clothes & goods), however it worth as there is no need to think how to go from/ come back to the hotel wherever you plan the visit. Where else is necessary? With... More

This hotel is in need of some serious updates. Was old, filthy, and discomforting. Was in our room for 10 minutes before we decided to book a different hotel. The pictures on their website are misleading and the view of the square does not make the stay worth it.

The Metropole is an older hotel which needs a bit of attention. It is so well situated for the tourist being so close to all public transport and various tourist attractions. Staff are so informative, helpful and friendly. Breakfasts are as one would expect with a selection of breads, juices, cereals, eggs, bacon and a selection of cold meats and cheese. In... More

Great location, decent rate, staff friendly - but the carpets were filthy - the mattresses ancient and falling apart - and the bedding worn and old. Our hallway smelled of curry and smoke. They really need to update this place.

Pros, Great location, near everything South Beach has to offer, really lovely staff, cant do enough for you, clean rooms done everyday. Cons the air conditioner in our room was pretty noisy only had one fan speed, high, but we managed, they offer room service , but it is out sourced, don't use them, they messed up our orders twice,... We stayed at the Hotel Metropole for a little over a week. In that time, we were always treated with such amazing deference and respect by the entire staff. Additionally, they gave so much helpful advice and tips on everything we were interested in doing. Anything we wanted to do, they made all the arrangements and were so happy to... More

We booked a room with a view of the square for four nights. There was some noise, but the dull traffic noise didn't bother us and any music stopped by 11pm which we felt was acceptable. The location is perfect as it's central so a lot is within walking distance. Staff are excellent, speaking good English so no language issues,... More

We have stayed at Hotel Metropole for 6 nights. Its location was superb, the room was moderate and breakfast was sufficient. The only thing bothered us was about its reception. Since we have an early flight we planned to take a taxi to the Airport and asked the receptionist to call a taxi in the following morning. He said that... More

Excellent location, close to shopping, restaurants and main attractions. Breakfast was ok, but helpful for saving time. Noise level was medium, typical city life. Room size good, safe available in the room.
