5* hostel. The staff are amazingly nice, over friendly and caring. We couldn't ask for better service. Fabio is awesome! We will 100% go back to this place rather than any other hotel. This place is great!!

This place has so much going for it I don't know where to start. Everyone that works there is super helpful and friendly and it feels like everybody knows your name from the moment you check in. It's very very clean and the rooms have individual lockers under the beds and curtains for privacy on the bottom bunks. The evening... More

Yes! Lisbon kind of felt like a destination in itself. I've probably seen most that Lisbon has to offer during the week I spent there, but I want to return just to hang out with the amazing staff that work at this hostel. They are super friendly, welcome you in like family and jump through hoops to make sure your... More

Really great Hostel. Very well located, great staff and very nice building with everything you can need. The home made dinners are really good and the price is not high at all and totaly worth it. Would definitely go back.

Me and my friends had a great time here! The rooms are amazing, the social atmosphere is also really nice, lots of places to hang out, the dinner was amazing, the open bar for the dinner too, and the free shots better! 100% recommended if you want to have a great time and meeting new people!!

I stayed here over New Year and it was amazing! The hostel is in a great location for shops/restaurants/public transport. The staff are extremely helpful and lovely so if you want to venture further afield or have a nice meal they will give you good, honest advice on where to go or what to do. There is a great sociable... More

Had a great stay here :) No complaints whatsoever. All facilities were super clean. The beds were comfy and had huge drawers underneath for your belongings. They also give you locks for a small deposit. Bathrooms were immaculate. The staff were friendly and were a lot of fun to go out with in the evenings. They organise pub crawls which... More

Clean rooms and well-organized and modern. The location is center to most things visitors will want to see/do in Lisbon. Many transportation options within 1 km. At night the neighborhood wad surprisingly quiet. There were a lot of activities available to guests organized by the hostel. Staff are very friendly, helpful and enjoy sharing experiences.

I've been here for 4 nights (during December). I have to say that this is one of the best hostel I've ever been: great location, big and clean rooms, friendly staff members, free breakfast included, strong wifi, organised tours and even a free shot at night (after 11:30pm). The price is also very cheap, considering all these cons, and the... More

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighborhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
