We had a wonderful stay at The House. We received a very friendly and helpful service from the staff - especially help for things to do in Lisbon and how to find nice restaurants, museums etc. Rooms were clean and comfortable.I can absolutely recommend this place.

My husband & I booked a short break with our daughter and after much research booked The House for a few days - Wednesday to Sunday. We were not disappointed!! We were warmly welcomed by Francisco who kindly dealt with a taxi driver who was trying to charge us 53 euros from the airport (our own fault for not taking... More

My husband and I booked a few nights before we stayed with some relatives, but we didn't want to leave!... The staff is very nice and the attention is great!... They made us feel like home. The decoration of each room is like taken out from an IKEA catalog!.. and we love IKEA!..so this was a big plus... Even though... More

My husband found this hotel for our last night in Lisbon after returning from Porto and Algarve at the end of our vacation. Though it is a little bit outside of the city center, it was well-worth the extra bit of walking (or bus/taxi ride). The actual hotel is on the 4th-6th floors of a building that also seems to... We have just stayed in this amazing hotel. It was our first time in Portugal. From the moment we arrived at The House and were met by Ana at the door we felt looked after. She helped us to settle in and advised us how to take the tram 28 which gave us a great overview of Lisbon. She gave... More

Dear Derek and Luisella, Thank you very much for your lovely review. We were so glad to have you here and it is wonderful this feeling of recognition from you. It was indeed a long stay which fortunately gave us time to know you better, and for you to get to know us well too. But it also gave us... More

The House, while maybe not the most centrally located accommodation in Lisbon, makes up for this with great rooms, a very homely feel and best of all the roof terrace which you can enjoy day or night.

We spent 3 days in the Grandfather's study in THe House in Lisbon. What an absolute treat! The premises are in a very unassuming location - you go up 4 floors and arrive at the pent house which is beautiful - you have amazing views over Lisbon, yummy breakfast every day, clean, lovely rooms, bathrobes, toiletries, terrace with honesty bar... I was one of the 18 that Cindy mentions and want to second everything she said and more. Francisco and Ana and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We had an absolutely wonderful time during our week-long visit and there is nothing that we wanted to do that Ana didn't help us do. I loved the... More

Loved this B&B. Felt like we were staying in somebody's house. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was superb. There is nothing bad to say about this B&B. Possibly a bit far away from the main city centre, but even that isn't too bad as the vintage No. 28 tram stops... More

We were a large group of 18 that "took over" The House. Great location with a neighborhood vibe that made you feel as if you lived there. Beautiful views of the red titled rooftops and the River Tejo from the rooftop terrace. Rooms were very comfortable and The House has lovely decor Our stay wouldn't have been as great if... More
