My BF and I stayed in a private room for a couple of days last year October. It's a perfect place if you want to meet new friends as there are small -group torus organized just for this hostel and it's sister hostel. This place has almost everything you need for comfortable backpacking. Breakfast was simple but good enough. Must... More

Everything that you can see on website is true. Confortable and nice place to stay. Bedrooms are comfortable and has a light and plugs for each one. Lockers are safe and under each bed. Bathrooms are clean and enough for everybody. We can cook at kitchen and the space is very nice. The hostel is in front of a train... More

Having stayed in 30+ hostels in the past 12 months, this place stands well above the rest. I would consider it more like a hotel than a hostel because of the decor, vibe, cleanliness and comfort. My girlfriend and I stayed in the twin room with the mirror wall and green ferns which gave it a really cool outdoorsy feel.... More

For unforeseen reasons I had to stay overnight in Lisbon and stumbled upon the hostel, partly drawn by its prime location in the heart of the town center next to a major metro station. The hostel turned out to be a positive surprise. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the hostel's decor stylish and modern. Staff were welcoming and helpful... More

The overall experience was extremely pleasent: attention to details, quality of furniture, design touch. The breakfast is a plus and the position just perfect. Highly raccomended!!! Special thanks to Pedro for showing us the hidden gems of Lisbon and the Barrio Alto...wicked!

While on a month long trip to Portugal, I passed through Lisbon on a few occasions and stayed at both this hostel and it's sister hostel in the Baixa. Both were superb. Rooms are bright and airy, facilities are clean, breakfast is good and I literally cannot say enough about the staff. Always friendly, always helpful, remembered a face and... More

The location of this hostel is really central, just a few steps from the baixa-chiado metro station which is ideal to visit the whole city by foot or tram. Restaurants and bars are nearby (barrio alto & alfama). We had a private room for 2, except for the beds that weren't comfortable, rooms are nice, each one has it's own... More

The rooms and facilities have been perfectly clean and individually designed by local artists. Pancakes are freshly served for breakfast, also fresh fruits and juices. The staff has been very friendly and good at speaking english. Interiour design was amazing and unique. Can't wait to go back asap.

I have to admit I had never stayed at a hostel up until Living Lounge, which was recommended by a friend with a similar traveling style as me. To provide context: I have stayed at not-so-nice and mid-range hotels before but had largely gotten used to five-star resorts and luxury properties in my most recent leisure travels. I decided to... Easy access thru Aerobus, Metro, Bus Tram. Centrally located. My husband and I liked everything about this hostel. Spacious bathrooms, nice breakfast, very helpful staff, clean rooms, towels, city maps, organized activities, able to store our suitcases and then come back to take a showe for our late train ride on the day of check out. We enjoyed our Free... More
