The staffs are very friendly, and the room (I stayed single room) was awsome! From my room, I could see the typical housings of Alfama with red roofs and ocean view!!! Also, the tour they offer was also good. I only joined one of tours where we could listen to Fado. The guide took the guests to the restaurant that... More

Alfama Patio Hostel made my trip to Lissabon awesome. I've never been to a hostel like this. Everyvone is so friendly and ready to help you in every situation. The daily events like dinner or BBQ at the hostel make it easy to find new friends. The beds were so comfortable. And the breakfast was awesome. I got addicted to... More

As you walk into this hostel you automatically feel like you found your family and friends in your Portuguese home. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the patio makes for a perfect place to meet other travelers and find people to enjoy Lisbon with. When I was there they had a great BBQ with lots of choices for... More

The Alfama Patio Hostel was much more than I expected from regular hostel and the money paid. Great atmosphere, hosts were very friendly and always ready to help. The bed and shower were clean, breakfast was good, freshly baked pancakes added more home feeling to the entire stay. Not to mention all the activities they have going on inside and... More

Awesome place to stay. Right in the old center of town. Very relaxed atmosphere! They offer a lot of activities which are definitely worthwhile. You can go surfing, go on a trip to Sintra or do a pubcrawl.

To be honest this is something more than a hostel, this is home. The place is located in one of the best block of Lisbon, so if you like the tradition this is the best place to spend your time. Pretty close to the downtown, this hostel offers you all you need. It has got an awesome garden to relax... More

I remember, it was a hostel recommended by a friend living in Lisbon (she heard good opinions of Alfama Patio Hostel from her friends). And I've never regretted following her advice cause I wanted to make my stay in Lisbon unforgettable. So it was. It's a very cosy and friendly place, situated in a heart of amazing Alafama, a bit... This hostel is absolutely amazing, the staff is friendly and the location great. The breakfast is very tasty and there there are always nice people around. The only downside is the bad internet connection, but that isn't a real problem...

Located in the most beautiful quarter of the city. Extremely creative and cozy place. People treat you so friendly and helpful, that from the first moment you feel at home. Breakfast is varied and delicious. They have also quality and cheap drinks that you can consume between very interesting and nice people. The place is a landmark in Lisbon. Highly... More

Loved the location of this hostel, off the narrow cobbled streets of Alfama, along the 28 tram line and just a short walk to the town centre (where you can get another tram no.15 to Belem) if getting pickpocketed on the busy no.28 trams is not your idea of a good time! Like most things in Alfama, the hostel is... More
