We've spent 4 days in lisbon at the old town hostel and it really made our vacation much better. The place is awesome, the staff is very friendly and avaible for anything, the activities they organize are all fun and well made and the rooms are very spacious. Can't really wait to go back there!

Not even a 2 minute walk for Bairro Alto and 5 minutes to the trains to Belém! The atmosphere and decoration is excellent and breakfast is included (and it goes until 12h!). The staff is excellent also and it's the perfect place to meet other travellers and explore the city.

It is well located in the center in a quiet street. The building has a typical Portugese architecture, with high ceilings and large windows. It has a small terasse, perfect for meeting people. It is well furnished and feels very cosy. The best part is the atmosphere, they organise dinner every now and then (cheap, typical and v.good) and the... More

best staff who went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant; it's a cozy hostel in which staff could call you by name; great breakfast served til 1pm for the late wakers; fabulous family style dinner for a reasonable cost; lovely sitting rooms on both floor; clean room and bathroom; good location... you need to stay here

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The hostel has real character. The fact that the rooms are so spacious speaks for itself: the aim is not to turn travellers into sardines, but to provide an enjoyable budget place to use as a base for exploring Lisbon. The breakfast tables encourage people to talk to strangers, and I met some school-leavers... More
