Might a well been invisible communication with exception nil. I was the only guest in this mausalium of a place so the staff could not be bothered after along flight and a two bus ride I had to carry my case and find my own room in a dark corridor and work out in the dark what the plastic attachment... We stayed here as part of our vacation to Europe. We decided to stay here based upon other reviews and proximity to the Sanctuary. We arrived at night and were immediately greeted by the staff person. He was great as he made sure everything went smoothly for us. Check in was easy and luckily the cafeteria was still open. The... Hotel was ok If a bit devoid of character. Rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Reminded us of the hotel in " The Shining". It's central to everything in Fatima and a 3 minute walk to the shrine and bascillica.b

This hotel is in a great location for a pilgrimage to Fatima. The mood is peaceful and the rooms are very humble. We really enjoyed the framed photos that line the walls of the hotel on the main floor and even throughout stairwells between the floors. You are walking distance to the Basilica and shops/restaurants. The food is average at... More

Spent two nights here in April 2014. I would guess that pilgrimage season has not yet begun in Fatima as at times it seemed like we were the only people staying in the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location, minutes walk from the sanctuary. The rooms were decorated with many religious paintings and reminded me of a convent... More

The hotel is situated only few minutes/walking distance from Our lady of Fatima (the same as a lot of other hotels), but the room is very uncomfortable.... like a cell in monastery, very narrow bed and absolutelly to soft (old matress).... and also not very clean.... I found long black hair on my pillow :( Breakfast OK, very nice man... More

A fantastic stay. I was there with about 30 people on a Catholic, religious pilgrimage. They served wonderful food to our group. The lobby is breathtaking and has a religious gift shop. It seems very secure and I felt safe.

Domus Pacis is nicely situated behind the Basilica, beyond the parking lots. It's a short walk and pleasant in that you don't have to pass any shops between the Sanctuary grounds and this hotel. Front desk staff is helpful. I ate only breakfast here; it was adequate. The room was also adequate and clean. The TV carried EWTN. No internet... More

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for! I traveled with my 90 yr old grandma to Fatima and we were both impressed with this hotel beyond words! Its very close to Basilica and from our room you can hear the beautiful church bells and even singing! its about a five min walk to Shrine....very close! And the room... More
