Stayed here in the off season (November) - both the hotel & estoril were very quiet. Upgraded to an ocean-view room - well worth it to wake up to such an amazing view and such a great balcony. Beautiful linen and bed - not two singles together, but a proper bed. Decor stylish and classy - this is not a... More

We stayed in a studio apartment in the Amazonia Hotel, its was just lovely, the studio was bright, airy and a great size, it has great storage for our cases and good size balcony with a sea view, the location is great very quite but yet just across from the casino and five minutes to the beach, lovely relaxing pool... We paid a supplement for view to the garden or to the ocean. The hotel does not have a proper garden, only a small spot of green grass and a swimming pool not green at all. Ocean view suits were, ofcourse, not available.

I spent 4 days here and found the place cozy, quiet and very relaxing. The views and the atmosphere are wonderful, but you have to know that the location is a bit remote. While not too far from the Casino you still have to climb up and down the hill if you want to reach the beach or bus. The... More

I stayed at this hotel in June with my husband and 5 year old sun in a self catering apartment. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The decor could be described as a bit bland as everything is white, however this was fine for our needs. Our balcony was reasonably small compared to some of the other rooms with... More

Between arriving at the hotel and getting to the room it took us 1 hour. First, there wasn't anyone in the reception for 20 minutes. After, there was a communication problem between the hotel and Booking.com. Instead of giving us the room and then solving the problem (it was their problem) the guy made us wait for 40 min. Getting... More

The apartment had everything we needed and more. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, but there is easy access to the beach, the railways station and buses. It is a lovely walk from Cascais and felt safe at all times. I would definitely recommend it to... More

Spent 6 nights here at the end of October/early November. Had a top floor studio which had a large balcony and sea view. Room was large, simply furnished, clean, good twin beds, and fully functional. Good selection of English language channels with entertainment on TV. Breakfast not included, but the room came with a small kitchenette area with fridge and... More

Considering I just left a "less expensive 5 star" hotel on the Atlantic with superb service and amenities, this was by far a GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT. Come on,,,,foam pillows and towels that looked like they were taken from a local gymnasium and breakfast that for the most part came out of a can. Yes there were a few pieces of fresh... More

Spent a week in one of the studio apartments. It was decorated all in white, including the furniture and was very spacious. It was very modern and clean. There were two balconies and two televisions, one in the bedroom area and one in the living area. The kitchen area was fine for making tea or coffee but there wasn't much... More
