We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Sana hotel and found it was ideal to use as a base for exploring Lisbon without being in the city. The train from Estoril only takes 25 minutes into Lisbon centre and is very reasonable. We asked for a room on the 5th floor with a sea view and the room... More

The Sana was a lovely hotel with clean rooms, well equipped bathrooms. The views from the rooms facing the street were breathtaking. The price was good and is a better than average 3.5 star hotel. The breakfast was more than a typical european one. There was lots of variety and items were fresh. The fixtures in the room were older... More

Stayed here September 2014. Think we may have got the same 6th floor room as a previous reviewer with the bathroom hard to access because the loo was in the way of the door. Although the rooms are a bit dated and small, the location (5 minutes from Tameriz beach) and the friendliness of the staff (everyone says hello) more... More

Stayed here recently for 6 nights. The hotel is a bit dated but the service is good. We booked a seaview room and were given a room on the 6th floor which unfortunately did not have a balcony. The room was very small - really more suitable for single occupancy. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever experienced -... More

Excellent and extremely helpful staff in all areas of this establishment. During a anxious time when my girlfriend lost her camera bag with our room key in, the reception staff were unbelievably helpful and compassionate. All worked out in the end and Camera was recovered along with room key :-) Excellent stay and would stay again. Thanks guys x

My experience at this hotel was really good. It's close to a train station, beaches and things to see. My only displeasure was that occasionally the traffic at night got noisy. Hey, I had ear plugs, no problem - it could have happened anywhere. The housekeeping was very attentive to my needs, as well as the main desk. Anything I... More

Decent price, good location. In the nearest reach - 2 very good beaches - central beach Tamariz, and even closer smaller beach - Praia do Poca. However housekeeping service is very poor - the rooms are cleaned very late in the day, sometimes they even miss to change the towels and provide with new shampoos/gels. Breakfast is normal, nothing special,... More

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was not the best hotel I've stayed but... its value for money. Location is good, but if your room is facing the main street its really noisy. Rooms are ok, just old fashioned but clean. Bathroom definitely needs a renovation and all the equipment is old and used. It must have been... More

Whilst the staff were friendly and helpful and the view from our room was excellent the hotel is dreadfully dated. However for the entire duration of our stay the hotel was over-run with 11-14 yr olds from all over the world. Kicking a football in the dining room at breakfast, playing with and disrupting the lift service. Playing football in... More
