Be aware that it's position is only great ( easy walking from the railway station and in the centre of all amenities) if you are not driving as there are major difficulties with parking. One member of staff was coldly efficient! The breakfast choice was limited, especially considering the room rate. Everything else was good including the complementary glass of... more

We stayed at the Casa Da Pergola for 3 nights as our base for visiting Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the train station, restaurants and the beach. We had a lovely room on the third floor looking out over the front gardens. The staff could not have been more helpful with restaurants... more

Such elegance at such a good price! The very short walk from the train leads you to a stunning enclosed garden at the front gate. Birds-of-paradise and a mass of geranium. And manicured to a fare-thee-well. A very friendly welcome, and no sense of hurry as I went through several questions about the environs. I must say that I benefited... more

Just spent 7 days at Casa Da Pergola, and we were quite disappointed.the staff were not as friendly as portayed, and we must have had the worst room(20).The room was quite dark, with a small window, and the plumbing is extremely noisy. more

We stayed at the Casa du Pergola for 5 days and found it to be first rate in every respect. The building is an authentic Portuguese manor house with beautiful tiled floors and very tastefully decorated rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly and maintained an excellent level of service throughout our stay. In good weather breakfast is served... more

A beautiful building filled with gorgeous furniture and china. In a very convenient location if you are using the train. Just a little inconvenient if you are driving because it really is not possible to stop outside and unload luggage so you have to go to the car park at the station and walk back. The car park prices are... more

A friend recommended we got to Cascais during our trip to Portugal and they were right. We took a day trip there a few days before our reservation, just to see what it was like. The hotel is set back from the main street and has beautiful gardens. We only stayed 1 night, but it was memorable. We had a... more

We were delighted when we arrived at the Casa da Pergola as it is right in the centre of town, a short walk from the beach, and it's absolutely beautiful! Very pretty building and comfortable spacious room. Good breakfast served in the attractive courtyard garden outside and a complimenary glass of port in the evenings. No loungers for sunbathing outside... more

Everything about this small and elegant hotel is terrific. It's right in the centre of Cascais - which is so much nicer than Estoril - but once through its locked gate and garden, guests are in their own private mansion. There are shady places to sit outside, beautiful cool interior rooms furnished with antiques and comfortable sofas and a general... more

stayed in the flore room, top floor, twin room, simply decorated. beware if you are over 6ft as beds are short narrow and very noisy every time you moved in it. Good location for town, beaches and restaurants. Found breakfast to be good, plenty of different breads, jams, cereal, yoghurts, eggs and hams. beautiful building, inside and out. Sister stayed... more
