From outside you probably won't like this huge building fortunately hidden behind the dunes. First minutes inside too : you can feel lost in the so large lounge and corridors. "Where is gate 12 terminal 2" ? If you are alone and feel blue, don't stay one minute more ! But if you feel well you will enjoy a lot... More

I stayed for the second time at Oitavos, this time with my wife and 7 years-old daughter and under these conditions it left a rather sour feeling. The good first: - I like the bedrooms. they are spacious, bright and modern. Proper modern five stars bedrooms. - I love the breakfast. It has a portuguese flair and offers a very... More

This hotel made my trip to Portugal. It felt like walking into Architectural Digest. The main floor became even more beautiful at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great- the breakfast buffet was incomparable. We particularly enjoyed the impromptu Port tasting the bartender created for us. We do not play golf, but apparently, it is... More

Location in the dunes with an atlantic view from each room is spectacular. By car just 5 minutes to Cascais, 30 to Lisbon. In this recently opened building you have to accept a cool, modern design. Colours from grey to blue, consequently from lobby until bathroom. Less plastic would have been nice. The stuff is extremely friendly an decent. During... More

The hotel is nice and modern, but too modern for our taste. There is no ambiance in the hotel lobby and rooms - everything is a bit too big and contemporary. Breakfast is average with a fair selection of things to choose from. The spa is very functional, but not very inviting. The hotel can be recommended in case you... More

The rooms are huge and modernly decorated. A huge bed. Loved it! The bathroom is an issue for some peope. It's totally transparent and with thin walls of glass. The balcony is huge, with beautiful views. The food is good. But it's hard to compete with the great fish restaurants in the surrounding area. But for snacks while in the... More

This is as good a hotel as I've stayed in. The service was excellent, staff super friendly (almost scarily so at times), and the place radiates quality in every aspect. Rooms were wonderfully appointed, though ultra modern. If you prefer traditional styles, this may not be the place for you, but we loved it. Food was excellent (breakfast, lunch &... More

A very modern looking hotel. Reception was excellent & an introduction to how friendly & helpful all the hotel staff are. Rooms are very big, good big double bed, large tv in living area & also in the 'bedroom'. Felt somewhat cold to us with the blue colour everywhere & the Ikea-esque furnishings. Breakfast was good, choice of eggs offered... More
