As I would only be in the area for 3 days, I did not want to stay in an impersonal and expensive hotel (expensive for a South African due to the exchange rate). The guesthouse was just right for me, a 10 minute walk from the town centre. I had a large room to myself, sharing a bathroom with another... More

You will feel welcome at first sight in this beautiful guesthouse! Settle down in the hammock between the palm trees. Look around at the lovely and wel kept garden, or at Mr, Brown the friendly blue-eyed cat. Walk through the house that is clean and tidy and decorated with style. There is place enough in the well equiped kitchen to... More

We made our way to this lovely guesthouse in a residential neighborhood of Cascais after staying in a fun but really loud hostel for two nights. We were in need of a good night's sleep and a restful stay. We got that and so much more! The home is beautiful and garden/yard is a dream. Our double room featured a... More

The owner is extremely helpful and each night (we stayed for 3 nights) she went out of her way to book us into some super restaurants - each with a very different feel, from a seafood restaurant overlooking the sea to a great in land restaurant. Didnt think much of the rooms and it was quite busy so you have... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night in September with our 18 month old son. The owner, as others have said, is lovely and she was very helpful sorting us out with early check in, giving us maps and tips on places to eat and visit and nearby beaches. We stayed in room 3 which was bright and... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night in September 2013. The hotel is the owners house, who lets out a few rooms within it, all of which are lovely. The rooms are well finished, immaculately clean and tidy, and quaint/cutesy looking. We had a double room which had a view overlooking the garden, and basic facilities (lamps, guides... More

Big, clean rooms and a clean bathroom to share; very nicely decorated and a nice garden; good breakfast. What makes this place a great place to stay: great hostess with awesome tips on where to eat and drink! Distance to town and beaches is okay and walk-able.

Very pretty little guesthouse, nice clean (and cool) rooms with a great (shared) bathroom. It really felt like a home and the owner is as nice as everyone else said - she is very friendly and genuine and has some good recommendations about where to go in town. The location is a little out of the centre but its close... More

I had a wonderful time at this guest house. i couldn't find the original place i had booked so my taxi driver brought me here and i'm glad he did. I felt very well taken care of and felt right at home. The owner is very helpful and very welcoming. This is a great place to stay.

This is a great guesthouse. I stayed there in March of 2012 and was in a shared room with 4 other friends. We got lucky and had the room to ourselves. The room was spacious, with comfortable bunk beds. The house was also very clean. The owner is incredibly helpful! She had multiple maps of Sintra and told us the... More
