This hotel was in the past one of the "Pousadas de Portugal". The present management owners managed to keeep the top quality of the hotel: quiet and comfortable rooms; great location both in Batalha and in Portugal (to explore the centre region of the country); great food at Vintage restaurant… (don't look any further to have a nice meal at... This is a very comfortable, quiet hotel located just opposite the Monastery in Batalha. The rooms are very clean and the hotel serves a lovely buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The location enables you to visit the Monastery without the crowds either early in the morning or later in the... More

Tripadvisor comes through again! Our room was very large with a huge balcony, both looking out over the Batalha Monastery. The interior of the hotel and furnishings were very nice and the bed was most comfortable I'm afraid my pictures of the room do not do it justice. It was very modern, clean and the bathroom was very large also... More

I keep coming again and again to this lovely hotel in Batalha. I am a tour guide and I never ever miss staying there 2 nights on my trips. The location is unique - 50 meters from Batalha monastery - one of the most beautiful sites in Portugal. The owner is lovely. Food and service is excellent.

A small modern well maintained hotel with quality furnishings, every detail has been considered and everything looks cared for (even the grass outside the front!). The breakfast has plenty of choice and is attractively laid out. Wonderful views of the monastery from the dining room. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved it here and stayed for 3 nights using it... More

Don't be fooled by what looks like a cheap motel on the outside -once you enter it is a modern and very tastefully decorated hotel. Our room was spacious, fresh and simply lovely! The staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. This has to be the best bargain in Portugal - with the awesome view of... More
