We are back this year in September bringing friends with us for a wonderful 12 day stay with Hugh and Jane. It was lovely to see them again, catch up with all their news and stay in 'our' very comfortable suite. Again the cuisine was excellent with delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners enjoyed out on the patio with flowing wine.... more

Very good service from Hugh and Jane, i would highly recomend this place to anyone looking for r and r. Peaceful and calming, a good place to destress and unwind. Rooms are huge and very clean, with great views across the valley. We have been here several times before over the last 3 or 4 years, and already looking forward to... more

What more could you need for a perfect holiday?! And that is exactly what we had at Quinta Dos Tres Rios. My family (two very young children) stayed for a week and we could not have been made to feel more at home. The children adored the dogs (and the dogs adored the children!) and loved the space to run... more

A long awaited return to the Quinta which was better than I remembered it to be. Our hosts Hugh and Jane were like old friends and welcomed us into their home again. This time we had the interesting experience of picking the grapes, helping to put them thru the de-stalking machine into the Lagar where we were able to tread... more

We booked to stay here for 6 nights, rather than travel around as we usually do, because the rooms looked so fantastic and we were not disappointed! What you see on the website really is what you get. Looking back, I wish we had spent less time dashing around, seeing the sights, and more time chilling in our lovely sitting... more

Quinta dos Três Rios is a meticulously refurbished quinta surrounded by vineyards and fruit trees. Our large rooms were both beautiful and comfortable. The only thing better than our accommodations were our hosts. We felt like well loved, spoiled members of their family. From their own wonderful wine and home made delicious dinners and breakfasts to instructing us on where... more

Wow, the pictures don't even come close to doing Quinta dos Tres Rios justice. From the moment we pulled into the B&B we were blown away. The house is stunning - beautifully restored and the surrounding grounds with the vineyards, creek, fruit and veggie garden were out of this world! And Hugh and Jane are great hosts. We had dinner... more

We stayed overnight at the Quinta dos Tres Rios on our trip to the Douro. Hugh and Jane are like long lost friends that you re-find. They have refurbished the Quinta with an eye to detail and preservation that provides spacious and high quality suites, all of which seem to have separate living rooms. We were even invited to eat... more

Douro valley out of this world as so beautiful. Had a most relaxing stay with lots of reading and sleeping in the sun to start our stay off. (Temperatures up in the high 20s just what we needed for Feb as left snow at home). AMazing sandy beaches within easy reach. Janie and Hugh are the most marvellous of hosts... more

Our stay at Quinta Dos Tres Rios was the Highlight of our holiday. The accommodations were wonderful with spacious rooms, sitting areas and a huge stoned patio area that provided a great view of the local scenery. Our breakfasts were out of this world and if requested Jane and Hugh put on dinner for us. It is safe to say... more
