I visited the hotel and got a room for 3(2 beds) for 55euros. For the price, it is ok because everything is in big need of renovation. It looks like the hotal is exactly as built 40 years ago. That said, it was clean and we had plenty of hot water. No problem there. The location is central and downtown... More

I stayed at the hotel in April 2015 and I can say that it was a great experience. Its location is very convenient, because it is right in the middle of the town and close to the main attractions of the city. The conditions are very good, although they are not so modern or luxurious. The staff was very friendly... More

We spent a month in Portugal (May/June 2012) and visited 15 towns & cities. This place was one of my favourite hotels. Sure, it's old and needs some updating. But, let your imagination run wild & think how this place looked and operated in its day. What a grand old hotel; long & wide circular stair cases, sitting rooms, card... More

Decent hotel at a good location from the centre part of town, 5 minutes walking distance. The breakfast and rooms are a bit outdated but clean. Staff is helpful

Charming hotel, candles burning in the commons to welcome you in the evening, rooms are tiny but the really inconvenient thing are the very thin walls. I was awakened by the snoring of someone in the room next to mine! And one night a lot of noise outside, people shouting in the street all night - explanations of the receptionist:... More

For around 40€, it was a good surprise. There is no luxury but everything works and is reasonably clean. Even the fire alarm works - and promptly detects any abuse made to the toaster in the breakfast room .... The wooden floors are nothing but quiet. Tiny private car park available nearby.

The breakfast is too much, for the price like we are in a 5 stars, a tipical breakfast with the handmade juice ,and handmade sweet of strawberry, nice bread, croissants,........ I was stay in the room 101 and for the price of 35 €... More
