This hotel is a solid old (1960's?) place that has character and charm associated with the era, but one that some would say could do with a facelift. My room was adequate, clean, repainted, newish carpet etc, a little on the small side, but it had a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. It had all the basics you'd expect... More

Hotel #4 on our Globus tour. The rooms at this hotel are ok, but certainly nothing special. The location is fairly central, the lobby area and bar are nice, but the breakfast room is one of the most disorganized and chaotic of any I have seen in Europe. The staff looked tired and disinterested, and were in no hurry to... More

Lets say that almost all aspects which are important for your stay are at the very high quality level. Location, comfort, etc, so I can not say anything wrong about it. The weekest point is wi-fi internet which can not be found in the rooms, just in lobby, and even there when several people are conected at once, you cant... More

The most recommendable feature about this hotel is definitely its central location. That alone makes the hotel worth staying at, although not for long stretches of time. The hotel itself is cute and has a cozy, home-like look about its interior, but I have to say that I didn't find my room all that comfortable due to the dim lighting... More

Our sat nav took us here en route between the Algarve and Oviedo. It was easy to find and very well located for an easy walk into the pedestrianised old town for dinner. The room was clean and comfortable, although not ultra modern! The atmosphere seemed gloomy due to lots of established trees in the grounds which could do with... More

The hotel is very well located in the heart of Viseu. The hotel may be older but is very well maintained. The pool and garden area is very private although it faces a busy street. You are in walking distance of all the sites and commercial areas. Staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was extensive with many choices.

This older traditional hotel is very close to the city centre, yet a quiet and peaceful location very close to city centre in its own grounds. The rooms were clean and spacious with good bathrooms, furnished in traditional style. Parts are looking a bit "tired" and old fashioned, but of no problems, unless you expecting the height of luxury! Breakfast... More

An older hotel in an excellent location in the center of the city within easy walking distance of a park and public buildings. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a large selection of items to satisfy every taste.
