The hotel is located in the heart of Aveiro which is good for walking but bad for parking. They did have a lot we could park a short walk away though. There is plenty to see right out side your door and there is a shopping mall a short walk away should you need anything. The canal is a 20... More

Hotel is lovely. Room pleasant and staff helpful. Their English is not the best but I'm in Portugal and us Brits should make more of an effort. Place is very clean, breakfast is perfectly acceptable apart from the hot water not being hot enough to make a cup of tea. juice is not fresh, it is from powder but those... More

I already have a book for Aveiro, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was really far from the center of the city. So I decided go door to door, and the hotels are complete, but in one that was full they recomend José Estevao. The room is really confortable big. Despite the window is in the center of... More

Although only two star hotel it has been very recently refurbished to a high standard. It's sister hotel in the same city is a four star hotel called As Americas where we were allowed to park our car for free. The staff were delightful and rooms quite spacious, spotlessly clean with a new bathroom. Breakfast was simple but good quality.... More

Very good value hotel in central location in charming Aveiro. Rooms very clean, modern and quiet with nice balconies. Continental breakfast adequate. Only problem we found was the staff''s lack of English and a few problems with room keys( they don't seem to have spares to some rooms )so if you lose yours or leave it in your room there... More
