Beautiful hotel in a great/best location. I loved the atmosphere. GREAT service. I would definitely go back there if in Aveiro. Only issue: my room was on a little street with a bar so noisy. ask for a room on the hotel (square/quiet)

We stayed just one night in this fabulous hotel. We got a free upgrade on the booked canal view room. Our room was situated just above the hotel entrance and was very stylish but also quite big and comfortable. We also liked the very good breakfast. The welcoming by the nice young lady at the frontdesk made us feel home... More

We had an executive room with canal view and found the room warm and comfortable on a rather wet day. The double glazing was very effective at shutting out any traffic noise. The staff were very polite and efficient. Very good breakfast and free wifi. We even managed to park in the hotel's small free parking area right outside the... More

Just walking down the hallway to the room was an experience because lights on the artwork were motion sensitive. When you walked by the art, it became illuminated. Very nice. Staff were always friendly and helpful, from hailing a taxi to pointing out the best places to eat. Hotel was clean. That's a biggie. Everything was clean - the lobby, the... More

This hotel was great, beautiful room overlooking the canal system with gondola trips, we just happened to be there when it was the annual onion festival and so there was a lot of things happening. The gondola trip is well worth doing. Breakfast was plentiful all you need for your day ahead. Staff very friendly, even lending us some towels... More

A large room overlooking the canal, great service, in the old part of town, walking distance to all the art and old houses. Current decor is very dark, black velvet on the walls etc. Excellent breakfast. The canal tour is really worth the 8Euros, but if you are just a couple, dont use the large boats in front of the... The hotel is very conveniently located between a small park and the old town, with lots of nice restaurants and cafes around. Rooms are clean, well equipped, both functional and in style. People are very friendly, creating a personal and yet professional atmosphere. But the unique thing about this hotel is the breakfast buffet, which was far beyond everything I... More

Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities. Pedro at the front desk was extremely helpful. He helped us in finding restaurants and in booking our next hotel in Porto. The price was excellent and the included breakfast lovely with fresh fruits and pastries. I would suggest a room in the front on the canal if it is the weekend as it is... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in August 2014. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive to us at breakfast. We stayed on the 2nd floor which was nice, but I think a 3rd floor room with balcony would have been even nicer. The location is fantastic - the canal is right in front of the hotel, and behind the... More
