Good size, comfortable rooms. Very generous breakfast buffet. Relaxing outdoor patio garden. A very decent hotel for the price. As others have noted, it's a bit of a walk to the actual centre of town but only about 10-15 minutes, so hardly arduous. Would stay again.

Family run hotel which although a bit old fashioned delivers good rooms and breakfast at reasonable prices. Friendly and comfortable with good sized rooms but a bit of a walk to town centre. Unfortunately the weather prevented us using what appeared to be a well set out breakfast patio area.

A very friendly and welcoming hotel - we didn't take breakfast as a result of over indulging in the excellent meal the night prior - The hotel is not on the main arena though close enough to enjoy the walk to the estuary and the boats and other attractions including a great bar that introduced us to some different drinks... We stayed two nights here and quite enjoyed this small hotel which is a ten minute walk into town. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, the price was good, and the breakfast buffet, served in a lovely dining room with patio for warmer weather, was very good. Lots of choice too. We... More

We spent 5 nights at the Veneza Hotel. All the positive comments in other reviews are accurate, in our opinion. A short walk from the railway station, which is handy for late night arrivals and/or early morning departures. The Veneza is pleasantly furnished and our room was a reasonable size. The staff were courteous and efficient. The breakfast buffet was... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, without incident (somewhat rare for us). The staff are pleasant, helpful and courteous. The room was a decent size, with comfortable beds, and functioning air-conditioning. Adequate, though not exceptional, breakfast. Without hesitation we'd stay here again.

The Veneza Hotel may lack charm, but is a perfectly functional, clean, quiet, and acceptable choice. It is close to the train station, which depending on your plans may be an advantage, but the 15-minute walk to the center starts to seem a little long after a trip or two. The rooms are decorated soullessly, but have been renovated recently.... More

This was a nice enough hotel, with good facilities, and well located just on the edges of the town centre, but very close to the train station. Loaded up with bags, the short walk from the train station was a real benefit of this place, yet there was also no noise that you might expect from that sort of proximity.... More

The Veneza Hotel stays in an old style building, but it's all renovated. I stayed in room for a couple. The space is very good, it has a cosy chair and also a place to work. It has a mini refrigerator, a flat screen tv, a queen size bed very confortable, and our room has a balcony to the street... More
