Ideally located in the center of Aveiro, this traditional hotel delivers what is expected from this type of establishment. Large in size (102 rooms plus suites), it can receive big groups. Rooms are large but some equipments deserve being renewed. The classic restaurant is used for serving breakfast and to serve meals to groups. The more modern bar/restaurant in the... More

Good hotel closed to the city center. Rooms are good with comfortable beds. Breakfast was also nice. Close to restaurants and water channel. Not new but good value for money. City is very beautiful. We are always thinking to visit that place one more time.

This hotel feels as if you went back in time..its actually a time warp. It is so outdated, the whole hotel smells of different smells one of them is old people houses others are just stenches. Beds squick, matreces are offside, indoor furniture is from the time warp, breakfast is dull with absolutly no taste (orange juice and coffee taste the same...like water!) You... More

My Brother and I decided to head to Aveiro as we heard a lot about its charm. It was off season so very few tourists, some places were almost empty but the local people were very warm and friendly. The hotel was in such a great location. We parked the car and walked everywhere for the short two day stay,... More

apparently 4 star, our room wasnt, but we paid 49 euros B&B (they let us do the booking via booking.com there and then on their computer as the full price was 58€) . Room spacious, clean, good beds, large bathroom, shower acceptable. Very central but quiet street. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

A well located hotel in town center, near the Santa Joana museum and the curch Sé, five minutes walk to the river canal. The rooms are good spacious. The restaurante was an excellent surprise. Good value for money, friendly and helpful saff. Is a place worth staying.

Very central - best location in Aveiro! The staff is very helpful and very friendly ... I didn't pay anything for WiFi ... I always stay here when I visit Aveiro! Yes, the hotel is a bit older ... a bathroom renovation would certainly be rejoiced ... but the prices can't be beat! I think it is worth the price... More

Service in reception was poor if non-existing, but did not depend on language barrier but attitude. Old interior (and not in that nice, romantic way), everything was from the Eighties. Breakfast the same as in all hotels in Portugal. No free wi-fi, only an ancient computer by the elevators. The hotel might have been grand in its heyday, but that... More

This hotel is just blocks from the Aveiro canal. We had reserved directly with the hotel by email in March for the September trip and asked for double beds, not twins, and non-smoking rooms with balconies. We got twin beds, no balconies and rooms that didn't say non-smoking, though neither room smelled of smoke. The man at the desk was... More

It is a cheap hotel located in the city centre. The room and the bathroom were a little bit outdated, but it has a beautiful vintage common room for breakfasts. One of the best towels I ever used in a hotel.
