I have been for business in this hotel in an room the second floor, last May. The personal was reserveid and cordial; the restoraunt was good. The room was clean but a few optional. The cost was not high! I recommend this Hotel to all tourists!

Location is good if you get a room to the sea, if not you just get a wall in front of your window. We get a lot of exterior noisy because of the weak isolation of the windows. There are a lot of interior noises too all over the day, specially in the morning.
At the restaurant the food is...

Hotel Beira Mar is a 3-star hotel in the centre of Angra near the new marina and with views of Monte Brasil . There are only a couple of hotels right in the city centre but major building work into the cliff face on the other side of the marina suggests new competition is being built.

I stayed here with my parents and had a good time. Azoreans were all very friendly and the staff here were no exception. Our room had a noisy but powerful airconditioning and a seaside balcony. The bathroom was somewhat spartan and at one point I found myself chasing a cockroach around the room at 1 in the morning when I...

The location was perfect, the room was clean, the stuff was very friendly (except of a guy at the main entrance) and helpful.

Just returned from Terceira, where I spent a few days at Hotel Beira Mar. Terceira is a fantastic place for a week long break, and the Hotel Beira Mar could not have been a better pick. The hotel ticks all boxes: location is wonderful (check the view from room 103), room and bathroom are very comfortable and clean, and the...

Our rooms were on the first floor facing the bay which meant something to look at all the time (they were busy making the beach ready for summer, big engineering machines sweeping the sand, men getting a bathing float and a trampoline afloat, putting up boardwalks and...

There were 14 of us that stayed at the Beira Mar Hotel. All of us were given seafront rooms as requested - in fact we took up the whole 2nd floor except for 1 room. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the rooms were clean and comfortable and felt bright and cheery with the breeze coming in the open windows....

My Aunt and I shared a lovely room facing the ocean bay. The view was beautiful, the ocean breeeze refreshing. The morning meals included with our stay of two weeks were very good and offered a great variety of foods to pick from. We loved our stay here and on this beautiful Island. Although our visit was approx. 10 years...

We arrived on Ferry From Pico.
My Bag with passport & credit card were lost - we met a local lady on the docks who help communicate with the ferry company for us.
She was picking up a motor part from the ferry.
Our bags showed up 3 days later - everything present.
This Lady Lucilla rang the hotel she...
