Amazing Staff always ready to help. Being one of the original modern hotels in Ponta Delgada its kept in excellent shape. Location is excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is polite and kind, but most have difficulties speaking English. Overall clean hotel, but kinda old. Breakfast is not good at all, but block table dinner offera nice choices. Location is in the heart of Ponta Delgada so its great. Poor gym and sauna services, unfortunately.

Our stay The Avenida Hotel was very enjoyable. A clean, quiet environment with everything a traveller needs, all in a super location. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned promptly every day. Free parking (limited availability). I just wish the WiFi worked a little better, and wasn't limited to the lobby.

This hotel is located perfectly near the harbour with an ocean view from our room.The management and staff were first class and most helpfull in every way.We were within walking distance of most resturants and shoping.The restaurant,food,and contenental breakfast were excelant,Iwould have no problem staying there again.

I discovered a cockroach in my room. It ruined my sleep for the rest of the stay. Room was not very clean anyway.

The carpet was dirty, you could see nobody had hoovered it before accommodating me there. So was the opinion of other colleagues. What's more, two of them 'met' cockroaches in their rooms!
