The place is clean, not far away from touring sites, whereas its room is somewhat a disappointment, especially when I stayed at Sofitel Heathrow for the night before. Never eat at the hotel! Never! Try restaurants at Portas do Mar, which are far more worth your money. I should have booked Hotel Marina Atlântico, where all my colleagues stayed. :( more

This hotel is in an excellent location but at the moment all the traffic from the harbour front is diverted right past the hotel(until late summer 2008). This makes it very noisy and also dirty. What is worse is the noise made by groups leaving the nearby disco up until 0400 in the morning on Fri and Sat nights. Just... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nighs. Check in was no problem and room was clean with partial sea view - only few rooms have this view. Breakfast was sufficient with choice of ham, cheese and fruit. There is no fridge or kettle in the room. Parking is very limited - only around 12 spaces in the hotel garage.... more

what a great hotel, the location to shops was perfect. Not only near shops but accessable to lovely churches, the ocean, the city bus line.
