We just returned from a week in Sao Miguel. We wanted a hotel in Ponta Delgada that was within walking distance of the center. The Hotel Marina Atlantico was a good choice for us. Very convenient location. Wonderful view of the marina. Good breakfast included(not great). Very clean. Friendly staff. Very good restaurant food. Would certainly recommend!

Stayed here one week in July. Double room on top floor Great view, great location, frendly staff, good food, clean. Many good resturants on the marina, right outside the hotel. The city has a nice chill atmosphere to it. You don't get the feeling of an tourist place.

The hotel is very central and easy to reach. The check in was fast, the staff super friendly. The room was spacious, had a balcony with a beautiful view of the harbour. The bed was very small and the blanketts are old and strange. Everything else okay. The breakfast was okay, some local products, but very bad or no service.... More

The location is good and only a short walk away from the centre of Ponta Delgada. We first stayed in a room on the back of the hotel; the room itself was ok but we had to sleep with the small window open at night because the air conditioning was ineffective and the noise from outside was terrible - barking... The Azores are about as far away on this planet as it is possible for an Australian to go, but Sao Miguel and Ponta Delgada were well worth it.
