The former Holiday Inn is a wonderful, modern and clean hotel just outside the city. I was 100% pleased and felt it was the best in the city. We spent a few days in San Miguel at the beginning of May. We found a good rate on the hotel web page (double bedroom, breakfast included, free private parking, 85 Euro per night) and we really enjoyed our stay. Nice modern hotel with very bright and airy rooms. The first hotel room floor actually begins at the third level, so all rooms have a guaranteed view of either the town of Ponta Delgada or the Fogo mountain range plus Atlantic ocean.
