We have just returned home ,we stayed here for a few days at the beginning of our holiday .This was in the bed and breakfast accommodation .this was so lovely and comfortable . Very stylish and clean . You had to get to the room up 2 flights of stairs , which for some people it could be a problem... More

Based in an old Victorian building in Ponta Delgada, we first wondered whether it really was the right address - but the lady running the hotel was right there welcoming us. The house indeed has a historic air about itself and a beautiful garden with several cute cats living a nice life in it and on the patios. Our apartment... More

It is difficult to find anything negative to say about this delightful place where the owner and her son played such a big part in making our ten day stay an absolute delight. We were greated by Jose Bernard in the absence of his mother and his helpfulness and enthusiasm were infectious. The numerous cats and his dog Dexter added... More

We (mother, 92 and daughter, 66) stayed at Casa Vitoriana for approximately 10 days. It was our first stay, but it will not be our last - should we return to Ponta Delgada. We were received by our hostess with warmth and enthusiasm. We let her know when we were coming, on which flight, and when we would arrive with... More

We made a reservation and paid a deposit in March and we were to arrive on July 30 and stay for two nights. Then, on July 28, today, they sent us an email to tell us that, due to overbooking (so they say), they had cancelled our reservation. They proposed that we move to another hotel that was not fit... Charming and comfortable. Good breakfast. This is off the street and the complex has plenty of rooms and a charming garden area. It is conveniently located close to downtown restaurants and the port area. It is also near some charming gardens and parks. Very relaxed atmosphere. Everything was provided that we needed. You do need to pay cash. No credit... More

My daughter and I stayed for only a week at Casa Vitoriana, in the Goiba suite. Being vegetarians, having a kitchenette was a plus. The big supermarket is a short walk up the hill, small stores nearby, and it is an easy walk to the center of Ponta Delgada. We had an overnight flight and were greeted with the luxury... More

I visited Ponta Delgada in early October and stayed in one of the self-catering aparments Casa Jardim behind a beuatiful garden. In the morning drinking my coffee outside and looking at a bananatree I sometimes thought I was somewhere in tropic. Accomdation was perfect and maybe even too big for a solo traveller, but I could sing in shower and... More

My husband and I stayed at Casa Vitoriana for a week last November and enjoyed the facilities very much. The lovely garden apartment was spacious with a small kitchenette which gave us the opportunity to make breakfast and even dinner one evening. Margarida was most accomodating and we loved the Island of St. Miquel which we spent every day exploring.... More
