Positive aspects: New, modern, spacious hotel in Sao Miguel, 15 minutes away by foot to the city center. Rooms are large, extremely clean and acoustic isolated. Furniture looks brand-new, with a 42” Samsung TV. You do not hear any noise at all, nor from the outside neither from others room. Breakfast it’s ok, high quality products, not too varied, but... At the Azores the atmosphere can be quite humid so luckily this hotel has airconditioning. At other islands we visited B&B’s but at the main island we were very happy with the luxury this hotel offers. The rooms have laminated wood flooring which we much prefer over carpets. We had silent nights there on pretty good beds, so we were... More

This Hotel is the best in Ponta Delgada. Staff was English friendly and service was great. Try the best Cappuccino's at the lobby bar, it was scrumptious. We made it a point to have one every night that we were there. Breakfast was great, everything you need to start 5 minute drive to the Mall and Marina and City Center.

Big and spacious rooms with a ocean view. Very clean, with good towels. Breakfast was varied with a large variety of local cheeses (must try the S Jorge variety). Fresh fruit and tasty juices. Pool and gym looked quite good. The recepction and restaurant staff were very friendly. Will definetly come back some day.

We only stayed here 1 night. The room was spacious and clean. People at the reception were friendly and helpfull. As we had to leave early in the morning, we didn't take breakfast, but there was coffee and biscuits at the reception. Location is a few minutes walk of the centre of Ponta Delgada and of the sea.

Great rooms, beautiful skyline and hotel structure! Very good food at dinner, with optimum quality/prize. Buffet at 17,90 € and you can eat everything. The breakfast only is not so "intercontinental". They have always the same jam: (pumpkins, kiwi, honey).

Great choice of a hotel. Within walking distance of the city centre (15min, depending on how fast you walk). The hotel staff was very nice and very helpful. The check-in was done very quickly. Room was very nice, with an ocean view (which I requested while doing the reservation) and with a bathtub. Breakfast included (typical foods: fruit, yogurth, eggs,... More

There are no luxury hotels in the area. I tend to be a hotel snob so having a very simple hotel took a day to get used to. I understand what the other reviews meant by the pillows, but ours were replaced the 2nd day with new ones (we didn't even ask). Breakfast is a typical generous European style spread... More

I read some older reviews after booking this hotel and was cautious about what i would find. Past reviews indicated a slew of complaints which I would safely say are "fixed." My room is wonderful, apparently updated, comfortable, minimalist with a boatload of storage space. The breakfast is standard European continental but very good. Dinners are excellent. Staff is terrific... More

Hotel was arranged as part of a package and it was a great choice. The hotel staff was accommodating and very helpful. Breakfast was included - great buffet including local cheeses, amazing baked goods, produce, etc. Pool, hot tub, jacuzzi were nice to have at the end of a day. Room was spacious with airy feel. Ample hot water for... More
