This was our 5th trip to Sao Miguel and BY FAR THE BEST.... mostly due to the hospitality of Maria deDeus and her "Staff -of-One" - Alda..!!! I also stayed at Casa Maria de Deus and the experience was terrific. The B&B is located in a small village and the inhabitants are warm and friendly people, the man who owned the restaurant across the street from the house even knew how to speak english.
