Great location. Loved the swimming bay. Very friendly and accomodating service. Good picninc sandwiches. The only drawback was the plastic on the matresses. I don't have anything else to write, but Tripadvisor demands 200 characters - stupid rule!! Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid

My husband and I spent our 20th Wedding Anniversary in July at this gorgeous resort. The views and design of the resort are just amazing. You are set high above the ocean with different pathways to the pool or an ocean overlook where you can either sit and read or take in the stunning views. We enjoyed the restaurant in... More

My husband and I spent two nights at Aldeia in mid-September. We stayed in a single studio room with was very large, comfortable and had very nice modern bathroom. We had an amazing ocean view, free wifi in our room, and really enjoyed the beautiful natural setting of the hotel. We didn't use the pool which was very nice, but... More

One of the most beatiful and fascinating resorts we have ever been: the hotel is built in a tropical park on the ocean, with access to a bay inside the lavic rocks to have a protected bath, with paths among trees and flowers, with a romantic terrace to have a dring when the sun goes down, and bungalows scattered in... The birds during the night were a special experience. We liked our room with the big bathroom. The breakfast was okay. It would be nice when there would be fresh juice and more fruits like pineapple and watermelon everyday. The pool is wonderful to stay and the view over the sea is great.

The staff were excellent. The accommodations were in keeping with the rustic and charming locale without sacrificing any modern comforts. I even met the owner, a very personable man who even gave me a personal tour. Lovely pool area with access even to the ocean for those more adventurous souls. If you come to the Azores you need to visit... More

The rooms are actually little houses in a green park, very traditional and characteristic. They offer a stay full of charm and comfort. They have a swimming pool and private access to the ocean. Cuisine is excellent and offers a wide inexpensive choice. Really wonderful food, except for breakfast which is poor and can definitely be improved to match the... More

The local fish is delicious as are the Azorean steaks and pork. Thank you Paulo for all you did for... More

My husband and I booked a room here to stay overnight as a getaway from a family vacation for some alone time as we have family on the island. It was such a beautiful hotel. We had an ocean view room. The resturant had good food and breakfast is included as well. We would come and stay again.

The hotel is just as described. An eco conscious resort with top notch rooms / suites. Our suite was huge; had a fireplace and small fridge. The living area was very large and well appointed for relaxing. The hotel location is excellent; centrally located on the South coast of Pico sitting just above the sea. The grounds are extensive, so... More
