We have just returned from a week long stay at Casa das Oliveiras. Bill and Isa are such gracious and charming hosts. They are kind and helpful without being intrusive. This is a lovely rural retreat which is peaceful and comfortable. The pool was so wonderful to cool off in and the breakfasts are delicious. Wifi is excellent. Thank you... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa das Oliveiras. far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the local towns and cities to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of its rural setting , but close enough to visit both the mountains north of the Algarve or the beautiful beaches south of Silves. Thank you for an amazing... More

Wow. Lovely place - perfectly located for Silves/Lagoa/Feragudo/Portimao etc. It seems everywhere is just 20 mins away. Our hosts were an interesting, warm intelligent couple who freely gave great advice about restaurants, beaches etc. The rooms are spotless, the pool is idyllic. Shhh keep this place secret, it's great.

A good value b&b in the western Algarve. A well looked after and quiet place set in farm land. The rooms have good facilities including excellent broadband access. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast is of a good quality, with fresh orange juice. Isa is a good hostess and is happy to answer any questions about the area.... More

We had a wonderful time staying at Casa das Oliveiras. It's located in a great spot - handy for exploring yet in the picturesque countryside out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the towns. We had a warm welcome and were given a lovely, spotless room which opened out onto an area of terrace with a table... More

I strongly recommend Casa das Oliveiras - a wonderfully warm welcome and excellent value means we keep coming back. This was our third visit and while we keep meaning to go elsewhere we know that going back to Oliveiras will mean complete relaxation and an essential opportunity to recharge the batteries. The location is good with plenty of lovely beaches... More

When planning our trip across Portugal, we wanted to stay in rustic hotels to enjoy fresh air and welcoming hosts - something that is missing in big hotel chains located in city centers. We picked Casa das Oliveiras based on feedback on various sites, including this one - and the place surely lived up to expectations! Warm welcome by owners,... More

We had been touring Portugal by car, staying in hotels. For the last two days we chose to stay at Casa das Oliveiras and it was almost like coming home.- welcoming, very comfortable, relaxing, easy, in fact just what we were hoping for after reading other reviews. Everyone says Bill is a mine of information and they're right. We'd never... More

Recently returned from a short 5 day break to Portugal. The residence is in a great rural setting amongst the orange groves with a spattering of olive trees around, and little to no noise from the main highway a short distance away as the crow flies, however we didn't spend much time at the residence as we were off exploring... I first came here a couple of years previously and had such a nice stay I thought i would come back one day. Its still such a great place. Immaculately kept and just really relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast out by the pool is just a lovely way to start the day and the beaches along the south and west coast... More
