Book a room with a view . . .it is a worthwhile splurge. Spacious room, delightful balcony. Didn't eat here except breakfast which was good but not great. Hard to leave the view. more

We stayed for one night and although we did not have a fantanstic sunset, the view was gorgeous. We pay extra for a sea view, and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and cliffs. Start with the only downside to this place: it is pretty noisy. Not because it's near traffic, or a loud nightclub or anything like that but because sounds reverberate down the tiled hallway and through the brick walls. Spent a couple of nights here at the end of a trip touring the Algarve. The hotel is relatively expensive but it is worth paying that little bit extra for a room with a balcony looking out over the clifftops - the sunsets are amazing. We were transfered here after staying at the Pousada de Tavira and our booking was lost. All I can say is it is in a stunning location, but the accomodation does not compare to Tavira. The rooms are tired and dated, and generally need a good lick of paint and some TLC. Fantastic views if you can get a balcony... more

Stayed at the Pousada do Infante – Sagres – Dec 30th , 2007. This hotel is really nice but most of all the views from this hotel are AMAZINGGG. Definetly get an ocean view room., its worth it. The short story- the place was magnificent, the service was amazing and the food was great. We arrived at ten minutes to midnight, after a flat tire, and even though the kitchen was closed, the bar tender made us the best ham and cheese sandwich that has ever existed. Great location, public rooms a delight with a super pool. Bedrooms could definately do with updating, but are roomy with good bathrooms. Restaurant not cheap but very good with excellent service.
