We found the hotel to be impersonal generally with very little information being volunteered by the staff on arrival.
The room itself was old fashioned and not at all well equipped.
We have stayed in a number of timeshare exchange apartments and found this one to be the most disappointing. Most other exchange apartments have electric kettles, hairdryers, ironing boards etc. I doubt a family of, say, four with young children could cope with cooking any form of meal with the equipment provided. It was very much a juggling act to make even the simplest breakfast, toast etc with the limited facilities.
We only ate in the hotel itself on the first evening and even then my husband could not eat his meal at all. It was not satisfactory but no one asked why he left it or offer an alternative.
The situation of the hotel was great and ideal for anyone wishing to explore the Algarve as a whole and Praire de Rocha is beautiful.
